First off, I am straight. And girly. So don't ask such questions plz.
Girls with Guys' hairstyles. Sorry I didn't see my typo when I hit post. >_< Sorry. Okay, so I got bored and had my shoulder-length hair cut shorter, into a boy-like cut. I had this reference:  credits to UM thread. This is how it turned out:  I seriously look like a guy right now. .___. LOL. I didn't style it when I took the pic so it looks different. but it's quite similar when styled. I like the way that it feels, I mean, no more hassle. Long hair is a huge hassle.  This was how my hair was around last May. I had it cut shorter recently[even before this cut]. Has any other girl done this before? The guy who styled my hair told me to use hair wax[Bench FIX, around $4, it's a bit expensive compared to Gatsby], and I bought one a few hours ago. It really works well, though I find it weird that I'm a girl using hair wax. LOL. Post pictures here, if possible. ^^ --------------------  Criticism does not equal bashing. |

two of my friends usually have the boy haircut. it sorta suits them.. well, for one of them.. the other one, on the other hand.. sometimes i think she's a boy x.x
personally, i like longer hair so i wouldn't have a boy's haircut. ^^ -------------------- |

Yeah...
Last year. I had the short hair craze. & my Mom wouldn't let me cause she says it's not a "girl thing" to do. But she let me in the end and limit me to certain lengths. -twitch- I didn't look very guy-ish, I guess. I'll dig some photos out. THIS, was the shortest she'd let me.  -removed Yes, I look funny. & I'm in girls school, so I see a lot of girls with boy haircuts. By boy, I mean REALLY short like spiky short. I have a friend with that kinda hair. Even shorter than those ^ I miss my short hair, it was so easy. I mean, it dries fast and I don't even have to do anything to it in the morning. -------------------- V . I . It looks pretty good actually. Do we put our haircut pictures here too? Because I don't have one obviously. I did! Just yesterday! I had them cut off 4 inches!! They dyed it red/brown. I spend 4 hrs there just for this hair cut. Now I have to gel my hair every single day. --------------------

I hate long hair. I prefer short, the shorter the better. I'm planning on getting a guy's haircut too but I think my head is too big and it's not going to look right. Heh. We'll see what's up. I was thinkin of this one.

I cut my self during the summer. and yeah I like how you don't have to style it in the morning. I just take a shower then go. XD I don't even have to worry about it messing up. I just makes my life less of a hassle.   Halloween. lol I like this pic.  -------------------- |

i had very short hair in 9th and 10th grade..it didn't suit me cuz of my round face and since i cut it myself..it was horrible >___<"

In my opinion, most girls can't pull it off.
It seems as if theres a trend going around where girls want to look like "pretty boys". But I think there's a difference between "pretty boy" and just a "boy". Oh god. I had a boy's haircut about 4 years ago. It was HORRIBLE. I barely have any pictures of me with it, but I was kind of able to find one. Please ignore the fact that I was looking down when I took it. The flash on that camera was hella bright and my hand wasn't steady enough to hold it. x_x

I think it depends on the face, you know? I mean, I have this friend who cuts her hair short after watching Coffee Prince and instead of looking like Yoon Eun Hye she ended up looking like mushroom
