oh yeah...i need help with the prom dress too....this is going to be my first n last high school dance..so gotta look really beautiful n well dressed...heheh....the thing is i m only abt 5 ft...tht the problem..n our theme is Red carpet..something light.....i live in seattle, WA....any suggestion..

dang!!! that bcbg yellow dress is so pretty...too bad i'm short so i don't think long dresses would look that good on me?? i went to bcbg today and didn't see anything too amazing. i want a short, flowy dress..maybe a bubble?? and i really want it in like a deep color like blue or purplee. i don't know where else to look!! i've already been to bcbg, macys, bloomingdales.

so for senior prom is it better to wear like a long dress.

To my prom I'm wearing a short red dress that goes to my knees and I plan on glamorizing it with accessories. And I'll probably style my hair in a formal updo so it'll look fine. I know some friends who went to prom last year with poofy long dresses and they ended up sitting most of the night since it hard to dance in. -------------------- ⌈all our memories {♠} they're haunted⌋ We were always meant to say goodbye |

I graduated two years ago, but what helped me find my dress was looking online on nordstrom.com. The dresses there aren't obviously cheap, but I love the browsing options they have for you. I recommend looking under the section for women, click on "dress shop", and then there are several categories they have for you. You can browse by size, color of dress and body shape too. You probably want to browse under cocktail (dresses), prom/homecoming (dresses) and evening gowns. They gave me really great ideas on what to look for when I went shopping for my dress.

I've noticed that almost all prom dresses reveal most of the back and the chest area.
Question: Has anyone seen a prom dress that doesn't reveal the back side but still look gorgeous?? -------------------- |
