Our prom is really casual-ish- no one wears down-to-the-floor flocks because our prom is outside. Underneath a carnival tent with a DJ and a 'guest band' every year so yeah.

The prices for all these dresses really discourages me from going to prom =.=" soooooo pretty though
ticket = $180ish per person ( 5 hours at the waldorf astoria ;[ ) Is it worth it? ^ oh my, I googled the waldorf astoria and it looks absolutely gorgeous! (which is why your tickets are so expensive?)
my prom is $65~70/person & $3 off if you pre-book your table arrangements! I have quite a few dresses I'm unsure of to wear to prom (since I'm going to 2 different ones), but the one dress I'm 100% sure wearing to my prom is currently in the process og being mailed! i was never too fond of long dresses.
probably kuhs im a bit on the chunky side and im 5'2. so ive always gone with short dresses.. i think it makes my legs look a bit longer (: and i always go cheap. i hate spending so much on dresses kuhs i think its a waste of money if yer only gonna wear it once. homecoming O6  it cost me $45 at burlington. i got lucky and got the last one (: prom O7 im up for unique things.. and i was a bit hesitant to wear this.. but it was love at first sight. my friend thought it looked like a tablecloth.. but i loved it.   i borrowed this from someone i didnt even know. i saw a picture and i asked my friend to ask her for it. homecoming O7   bought it from bebe for $105 winter formal O8  i dont have better pictures for wf.. but it was a handkerchief dress with sequins located on the black. $40 at image. im planning to go for a print dress for this year's prom. gluck to everybody who hasnt gone shopping for prom yet!  -------------------- |

forreals. lol.
my dress last year for our formal =] it was originally a short bubble dress. but i made some alterations and stuck a piece of material with the wrong coloured yellow underneath XD luckily i did though. coz there were two other girls who bought the same dress X) but they both had pink. yellow pwns pink X)   -------------------- |

hahah the dress looks see through but its actually not.
it has a nude color base inside the white lacy outer layer. i jss wore spankies for that one. -------------------- |

^ i saw that dress in the stores. i don't think it'll look good on a person. it seemed really unflattering; not clinging to much, contrary to waht the pic looks like
