You don't have to wear a bra. You can sew in the padded part of a bra into the inside of your dress. My teacher help me do this for a dress I'm making.

the nu bra works just fine and no it won't slip. i wore it to prom and graduation. i was sweating like a pig during both events and after 9 hours both of them were still there. the entire cup is an adhesive and it's really really sticky so don't worry. i suggest buying the nu bra if you have small boobs and the petals (aka nipple bra) if you have big boobs. don't buy the adhesive bras from walmart bc they might not stay on for a long time. the nu bra is also very comfortable. it feels like you're not wearing a bra.

I'm selling this one if anyone wants to buy. PM me. i only wore it once. it's one of those color changing dresses. the main color is a periwinkle/gold and if you stand at an angle it's a smooth watery ocean blue. the brand is Jessica McClintock. I wore the nu bra with this dress. i'm 4'11 and 3/4 of an inch and i wore 4 inch heels.
Main color:  there's a slight train on the back  The color at an angle (specifically the shiny part of the dress by the left armpit and strap):
