neverrrr match the color of your makeup i.e. eyeshadow, liner, and whatnot to the color of your dress. maybe a goldddish? or a sheer shimmer kinda loook

Thanks a lot for your advice <3!

comicboyz4eva: It doesn't look like a prom type of dress. Maybe for homecoming for something?

I'm guessing why it doesn't look fit for prom is because it's not full length...@_@ if it was full length, do you guys think then it would be more fit? haha thats what my friend told me about why it kinda wont be fit for prom

^---i honestly think the dress above is okay for prom. The question is if you want to go with the traditional feel or well, off of it? the whole puffy long dress thing is not meant for everyone tongue.gif

my prom dress =)
for sure i'm going to wear it, but i just wanted more opinions! some ppl said it looked like a wedding dress.... =S

right now it's a tube, but i think i'm gonna get some straps sewed on.

i don't feel like making a new thread so hopefully my questions can be answered here ^^
i was thinking a light yellow shirt for my bf, but many of my friends said no.
what colour should the corsage be? (and should i get him a boutonniere?)
and then there's my shoes and purse. i was thinking dark gold shoes?

haha, so many questions.
but any suggestions are greatly appreciated! thanks!!

=))

cpx3s0ul: oo. cute dress. i can see why they say it look like a wedding dress. it might be the angle, but it makes u look kinda short since the dress reaches towards around ur ankle. i like it as a tube (but maybe because i just prefer tube dresses).

for the corsage u should get red, it'll stand out since ur dres is off white :]

for ur bf, i think a white shirt and gold vest combo would look nice.

o.o If you go into any decent sized department store they should have choker-like necklaces available. [or go online]

Silver shoes look great with sparkly dresses. :]

OOh . do you mind posting up a picture of you wearing it? its hard to find here in canada. and all the online stores seem to sell out of small rather quickly. -___-

oh. and by the way, this goes to all of you here..umm...Do you guys know what shade or color of make-up I should use for this particular dress? Any suggestions?

d_vu- Looks .. Like a nightgown to me. So I personally wouldn't wear it to prom.

taerimxpark- Ooh. I like that dress, though it makes your top half look so tiny. Heh.

^i just bought that for my prom dress >_<

I also got this dress

which dress is better?
Originally I wanted a long ball gown.. but I'm cheap and it'll be a hassle to hold up a long dress as I'm dancing.. haha.

Can anyone help me think of shoes that would match the first dress?
I was thinking black pointed pumps but that's pretty boring

also does anyone know where I can get a little jacket like this one

it's sold out at papaya -_____-

^I wouldn't wear a shrug over the dresses. It'd make it look less formal than it should be.
I really like your second one. It's simple but elegant. The first one is too simple and everyone seem to have that style of bubble dress.
