i am deciding to go to my junior prom this year

  and  i loved my first dress, and a lot of other peopel did too. Even though it's so pretty, i need to get rid of it (and the blue one) cuz their just sitting in my closet : ( the first dress is from jessica mcclintock, over $300 i think, and the second dress is from cache and i think i got it for over $200, but not too sure. |

hehe this was my prom dress back in '03
only got to wear it once  lol i bought it from windsor for 159+tax... hehe ill post my actual prom pics when i get back home  it has a corset type of back.. man i loved this dress! i went to 4 different windsors before i found it in my size!  anyone wanna take it off my hands? XD im willing to negociate if its reasonable  ----------- i found one of my prom pictures.. dont mind the face XD... also please note that i was fatter in high school ill put up more later...   i know the color looks not accurate in the pics... its supposed to be a crimson red... Not my prom dress (wore it to winter formal in 2006) but it might as well have been...

Anyways, I'm probably going to go with a short dress this year, but I'm having a hard time picking one. But I'm really excited cus I'm going to have my dress made instead of buying one (cus I don't want the same dress as someone else. It's kinda ehhh when that happens). the material wasn't high quality.. when mine came, it definitely didn't look formal enough for prom. it was more like a summer dress as the white color made it really see through =X -------------------- |

how much do you guys plan on spending on your prom dresses? How much is too much for a dress. The dress that I want is $170, not including alterations, which will probably cost a bundle too. =/

^ I personally don't want to spend more than $200 but I know people who have spent up to $400 for a custom made dress, yikes. Our prom tickets are going to be around $85 so I should start saving up now

But do you know what will make it even more beautiful? If people stopped quoting images...... It's simple - just take off the tags and leave it as links. Pretty please?
