Korean people made that? I thought Japanese people made that o___O?
I heard it helps get rid of your ddongbae your fat belly in english XD I never tried that cause it hurts for me for some reason. Maybe cause of sensitive skin? I'm not quiet sure. It only works if you try hard with it. And do it everyday until 2 months later. People who said that it didn't work means that they didn't do it more than 2 weeks ^^ like everyday :] -------------------- |

A friend of mine came to school one day complaining of her stomach hurting like crazy.. turns out she'd used a korean hula hoop the night before
I don't think it's worth the pain or the price, honestly. -------------------- head in the clouds~

When I first got it and used it, it hurt
so i put on a sweater . the next day just a t-shirt then the next day bare (like in a sports bra) . and i got bruises but the pain wasnt that hurtful ? lol now i can to it for HOURS and HOURS and HOURS its quite a hobby of mine actually : ) . but i get too lazy to i stopped aha and didnt really look at the results . but if you keep doing it, you get used to it, no more pain, and it'll be like walking, so simple. ! ps, theres different weight you can get like some are like 2.4 whatever 2.6 whatever etc. its better to start light hoolahoop, then if you get better and more used to it, go up point whatever pounds unfortunately , it meas wasting another 50 bucks buying a new one . unless you get the detaching mix and match ones . ; ) hope this helped ! -------------------- |

I just purchased a similar "fitness" hula hoop that is supposed to produce results like the Korean one, only this one was manufactured by Americans. It's called something like the "sports hoop" or "wavy hula":
![]() ![]() Has anyone tried this? I just started working with this a couple of days ago, and it really attacks your backsides o_____o and yes, I do feel pain. But it's quite a workout! Within a few minutes, I was working a sweat up! But I wonder what this is compared to the Korean hula hoop: ![]() But I will definitely be increasing my hula exercise routine everyday (they recommend to not work anymore than 20 mins. twice per day) w/the American wavy hula hoop...we'll see what happens! -------------------- ![]() |

i just got the one from odula or something like that were it has the little balls like the korean one but you can take them off to be like that american wavy one. it didnt hurt too bad when i did it last night and im about to do it agian tonigh and so on until the day before my b-day, its a experiment. i do the hula hoop and my friend does the 8 min ab workout thing for a month.
after i finished last night it felt like i did alot of sit-ups, but it was fun -------------------- |

Is this the hula hoop that's weighted or "magnetic" ?? There's one at the Korean store that says "Magnetic" on it... but it doesn't feel as heavy as the one my friend bought from China so I don't know...

I have no idea if it works, i just bought it and hopefully it WORKS cuz i spent liek 30-40 bucks on it and hopefully..no..I BETTER get a nice waist by the end of summer
The pain that comes with it is...horrible. I can only last 5 minutes XD I have another friend who did it for like an hour (she's mad about becoming skinny, like MAD OBSSESSED) and within two days of non-stop hoola hooping her whole body was covered in bruises and she couldnt move because it hurt so much. |

ehhhhhhhhhh, I bought one before...
honestly, I didn't really see a difference after I tried it. you get used to the pain though.
