Zwei. Purely simply AMAZING...recommended songs by them are DEFINATELY Shiori Machi (white town) and Dragon...complete genuis.
Then..theres Gazette and all...but I don't really listen to them much... And UVERworld is AWESOME. I recommend Chance!, D-techno Life. ... I'm not too sure if you're looking at J-rock..or J-visual or w.e...but what I gave u is more to the J-rock side...haha... |

That's mostly visual kei.
Depends on what you want alice nine. tend to tread a fine line between visual kei and oshare kei oshare kei bands you might like : -SuG -An Cafe -The Kiddie -Lolita 23q visual kei bands you might like : -The GazettE -Miyavi -Nightmare -12012 -Jealkb there are some visual kei bands that has left that particular scene for a more mainstream one : -Dir en grey -Luna Sea - disbanded -Glay Notable j-rock bands may include: -Mr.Children -L'arc en ciel (which supposedly during their very early years were visual kei) EDIT: they were in fact NOT visual kei -UVERworld -Gackt (once of visual kei band Malice Mizer) -Porno Graffitti -------------------- Read my blog: Auditory Impression
I have a Picture thread and a Facebook that you guys can check out too. |

alice nine is a great band to start off with jrock xD
if you like alice nine you'll definitely like the GazettE, SuG, SID and an cafe i reckon hehe. I also recommend Miyavi (first jrocker i got into), Nightmare and maybe for harder rock try dir en grey, girugamesh, 12012.. Other great jrock bands are L'arc~en~Ciel and Abingdon Boys School some songs i recommend Cassis, Chizuru, Reila, Taion by the GazettE Alterna., Toon Daily Late Show, Cherish by SuG (i love all the SuG songs actually, very cheerful jrock music xD) Link by L'arc~en~Ciel and Escapism by An Cafe just listened to Chandelier! they are really good!! definitely recommended <3 -------------------- |

Songs by GazettE (order of my liking)
- Cassis - Reila - Guren - Taion - Hyena - Chizuru - some new song in the Guren's new album. track #3 - Filth in the Beauty. - Baretta - Knife [Some of their songs are kind of okay but the ones above are my favorite. Most of their songs are the type that start off slow and then hit the climatic parts which are really amazing. The guitars, bass, and drums are tear worthy. ICEMAN (was he considered Jrock) - Shining Collection. I like this song alot for some reason =/ Dir en Grey Okay, i heard alot of people like their music but to me, is wigs me out. They sometimes wear white contacts which freak me out. I haven't tried their music yet but maybe you want to try first? lol Luna Sea I haven't heard their songs as of yet but alot of jrockers appreciate their music. |

The Gazette guitar solos For some reason I judge songs by the guitar solos.
Baretta Reila HUGE COMBO OF MOST WORTHY GUITAR PLAYING =) *** Don't let Uruha's shorts scare you away *** [They could get... quite short sometimes. lol] |
