Biography:

Debuting in 1998 as a member and youngest of the 6-member boy band, Shinhwa, Andy was able to overcome the hardships and obstacles of the celebrity world with his five other best friends. But now he makes his first step as a solo singer and must rely on himself. He released a digital single back in November 2007 where Wonder Girls' Yoo Bin featured as the rapper. Now he comes back to us in 2008 with a full-length solo album that contains a total of 12 tracks. Fellow Shinhwa members Eric, Dongwan, and Minwoo feature in several tracks, creating a bigger interest in Andy's new album.

Before his solo debut, Andy was the youngest of Shinhwa. For ten long years, Shinhwa created a big impact in the Korean industry. They were known as the longest running boy band in all of Korea. In March 2008, it will officially be Shinhwa's 10 year anniversary and all six members will come together to celebrate before their departure to the army.

BIOGRAPHY:

Solbi debuted as the main vocalist of Typhoon, which is a trio made up of 2 male members and a female vocalist. She has a powerful and husky voice that appeals to pop music lovers. Solbi had been trained by songwriter Kim Se-jin for more than 2 years. A total of 18 tracks make up Typhoon’s first album, which was released in 2006. The album ranges from disco, reggae, techno and Miami to ballads. Although the trio concentrates on dance music, Typhoon wanted to display their talent by offering a variety of songs on their first album.

In January 2007, Typhoon released a digital single ballad titled ""기다릴게… " (I'll Wait). This song shows us another side of Typhoon, and proves to us that they are more than a dance group.

ANDY AND SOLBI CHRONOLOGY OF EVENTS:

14th March - I believe this was their first ever meeting (plus and minus a day). During the recording, it was said that the day was the ‘White Day’ where guys should be giving out present for girls in return for ‘Valentine’s Day’. Andy gave her a small lollipop, and himself. They moved in and ’spend the night’ at their new house with Solbi making him a breakfast the next day while asking for his schedule. She’s behaving like a wife already… The footage from this recording was shown in both episode 1 and 2.

15th March – Episode 1, 2 Studio recording

16th March - Episode 1 of ‘We Got Married’ was aired.

23rd March - Even though glee22 think that the recording took place on the 28th, I will go with 23rd March because during their kimchi making sesion, Solbi switched on the TV and episode 2 of ‘We Got Married’ was aired. Note that they filmed this for 24 hours, so it first began with them ‘working out’ together, playing pool, eating jajjang myeon with Andy buying coffee for her before they proceed to their house to prepare kimchi. They then had their dinner together with the phone conversation with Eric as well as heart to heart talk about Andy’s mom took place during this recording. The footage from was shown in episode 3, 4, 5 and 6.

25th March – Episode 3-6 Studio recording

29/30th March - The Shinhwa Concert! Solbi’s mom appearance for lunch box preparation and Solbi attending Shinhwa concert for Andy. They had lunch together with Shinhwa members, as well as the kiss incident took place. Not to forget Andy’s heart sign for Solbi during ‘Eusha Eusha’ song during the concert. The footage from was shown in both episode 7 and 8. Episode 3 of ‘We Got Married’ was aired.

3rd April – Nivea events : Andy as brand embassador while Solbi as an MC
Andy Record 8 VS 1 with Solbi as one of the MCs and Andy as one of the guests. During the show, he was asked to choose one of the females and he chose Solbi, saying that Kim Tae Hee was his ideal girl. Likewise Solbi said hers was Joo Woo Sung.

5th April - Andy’s ‘Love Song’ performance in MBC Music Core in Star Cameo section and Solbi appeared to perform a duet. The rehearsal might took place somewhere after Shinhwa Concert and the actual performance. The footage of the performance was shown at the end of episode 8.

6th April - Episode 4 of ‘We Got Married’ was aired. Jsjangmyun game and Andy's sweet coffee run for Solbi

13th April - Episode 5 of ‘We Got Married’ was aired. Kimchi making episode where Andy carried Solbi and they danced the heart dance together...

15th April – Episode 7-8 studio recording

19/20th April - Andy was in China for his concert. He allegedly bought a ring for Solbi, for her ‘hard work’ in ‘We Got Married’. Andy appeared in KBS2 Entertainment Relay Star Recipe segment, where he denied dating Solbi, only laughing when the MC asked him if he likes Solbi. The recording of this segment was unknown, but definitely after the performance and before he went to China. Episode 6 of ‘We Got Married’ was aired. Kimchi making episode where Solbi lovingly wiped Andy's tears away and they gave a call to Eric... Andy also slowly opened his heart to Solbi about hjs worries over his parents...

21st April - The show 8 vs 1 was aired, with Solbi as one of the MCs and Andy as one of the guests. The actual recording again, might as well be close to Andy’s Star Recipe recording. During the show, he was asked to choose one of the females and he chose Solbi, saying that Kim Tae Hee was his ideal girl. Likewise Solbi said hers was Joo Woo Sung.

27th April - Episode 7 of ‘We Got Married’ was aired. Solbi meets Shinhwa for the first time and the first lip to lip kiss happened courtesy of Dong Wan...

30th April - According to glee22, Andy gave the ring to Solbi and the recording for episode 9 and 10 took place. I don’t really know about this one, so lets just stick to it. May I add the actual cheek kissing picture in the frame we saw in the picture posted today/yesterday was from this recording.

1st May – SBS Power time Radio, Andy was ask about kissing Solbi at the concert and Andy was super shy about it.

2nd May - Credit to glee22 again, this was when the news of Andy and Solbi being lovey dovey on Maybee's radio show came out which was after the recording of episode 9 and 10 of ’We Got Married’. Andy was rushed to the hospital due to food poisoning but still continued with his album promotion ‘Propose’.

4th May - During a radio show, the DJ asked him again if he would date Solbi. But he only said no comment and just laughed it off. Episode 8 of ‘We Got Married’ was aired.

6th May - Sang Sang Plus Season 2 show with Jun Jin and Dong Wan was aired, where Solbi said she would say yes if Andy initiates a relationship.

8/9th May - Recording of SBS Quiz! Sixth Sense Challenge where Andy sang ’Propose’ to Solbi. In another radio interview Andy ambiguously said that he would date Solbi if she posesses qualities that he liked for a girl (assertive and hardworking). Glee22 noted that Andy once said in the interview on 30th April that Solbi is assertive and hardworking. So, we can safely say that Solbi does possess the qualities that he's looking for in a girl.

10th May - Andy surprised Solbi by bringing her on stage during his ‘Propose’ performance in her 1st appearance as MC in MBC Music Core. I’m not very sure if this is a live recording, but let’s just assume that its live. The scene was presumed to be for WGM but obviously, it was just Andy's freewill that urged him to serenade Solbi publicly

11th May - On Tablos radio show Andy said the percentage that he would date Solbi is 99%. They appeared in SBS Quiz! Sixth Sense challenge where Andy sang ‘Propose’ for Solbi and looked very comfortable around her. Episode 9 of ‘We Got Married’ was aired where they shopped around for gifts for Solbi's parents and Andy shouted that Solbi is his in public.

12th/13th May - May I assume the recording of Episode 11 and 12 took place on these days? It's a housewarming party and So Yu Jin posted kissing pictures and lovey dovey pictures of Andy and Solbi on her cyworld. Somewhere in between these dates, Andy recorded Star Golden Bell where he said that his desire to date Solbi is 99% and he'd do it once he's done with his promotions, musical and other career plans.

13th May - Andy posted something on his webpage. Apparently he was worried and may I say a little bit down because of people’s comments on a ’show’ he was on which I personally believe was ‘We Got Married’. KBS2 Sang Sang Plus Season 2 episode 6 was aired, with Tak Jae Hoon jokingly remarking that Solbi was entirely being used by Andy, when Solbi asked ‘what about if a guy acts like he likes you on TV and doesn’t even asnwer your call off-screen.’ May I speculate Andy’s feelings were a little bit hurt by the ‘joke’ as he watched the show?

15th May - The picture of their house-warming picture emerged on So Yu Jin’s cyworld. However, it was taken down on the 16th May, maybe due to people spamming her cyworld?

16th May - May I assume they recorded Sang Sang Plus with Andy? Solbi was a little quiet and awkward in this guesting for reasons completely unknown then but which would later be found out was because of the ring that Andy gave her being lost...

17th May - KBS2 Star Golden Bell broadcast, Andy revealed he had a 99% intention to date Solbi! But… that’s after they knew each other well enough and after he completed most of his schedule, such as album promotion, musical and movie

18th May - Episode 10 of ‘We Got Married’ shown, with Solbi’s parents. It was a 100 minute special. Andy’s ‘Meet the Parents’ episode was a success of course, I think Solbi's parents sort of like him. Way to go Andy~ He gave Solbi the much awaited ring! Simple, but adorable event. All AnBiholics gradually saw the change in Andy as he begins to open hjs heart to Solbi as a woman rather than just a coworker.

19th May – Andy and Solbi recorded Introducing a STARs Friend where Solbi paired with Junjin for pocket ball and their friends for the date. Andy and Solbi seemed to have some sort of Lovers Quarrel in the episode with Andy even saying he wishes Hyun Young were the one paired with him as his wife instead of Solbi on WGM which Solbi wittily answered that she felt the same about Junjin. Again, we found out it's still all because everything's still not well because of the lost ring.

20th May - Andy's appearance in Sang Sang Plus Season 2 was aired. I believe the recording took place a little earlier than this date, shouldn’t it? Andy tried to shock her when she turned the wheel for balloon talk (she was only scared a slightest bit), and Andy answered ’Yes, he'd date her’ if Solbi initiated a relationship with him. But he commented that he doesn’t know Solbi’s heart… I wonder what does that mean. And he picked her for his last balloon popping round, and he popped the balloon by himself. Solbi smiled, and came the subtitle beneath, ‘Why are you…?’ with small love. Kekeke~ (Now that i'm redoing this chronology, i only came to realize that Andy felt unsure about Solbi's feelings because Solbi is still trying to evade talking to him at this point... OH... How real is the relationship of these two!)

Anyway, Solbi was quiet during balloon talk, she seemed uncomfortable, she got the least airtime compared to earlier episodes, and her ad-libs were reduced significantly. It seemed like its Andy who talked a lot.I believe she was under scrunity of fans. Furthermore, in a fan account during the recording, Solbi seemed to be so cold to Andy, and distanced. On-screen, they looked fine, who the hell know whats going on in her mind. With fans bad mouthing here and there, I will be in a bad mood as well. But during the ‘Children Story’ Game, she looked better, smiled a lot. And the highlight of the day, when people were fighting for basket from Andy, he put it in the middle to be ‘fair’ but in the end he kicked it towards Solbi. the subtitle beneath ‘Love Pass to Solbi’

24th May - Music Core with Andy... He co-MCed with Solbi! They both look so cute together!!! OMO OMO. Seems like everything's resolved and okr. Haha~ they look comfortable together on screen, but to be perfectly honest if Solbi was still troubled, she had to hide it and MC the show nonetheless. On screen, they were fine. Standing too close for comfort, actually. Fancams also showed Andy whispering sweetly to Solbi and preening before her.

25th May - Episode 11 was aired. Solbi didn’t wear the ring. Hmmm… is something wrong? She evaded Andy's questions where it was and the housewarming went on as normal with DonDon arriving first.

26th May - News of Solbi quitting her drama on MBC ‘Life Special Investigation Team’ due to hectic schedule came out. Some had mistakenly thought she’s quitting ‘We Got Married’ because of the title of the article! (Phew~) But the reason why her character in the drama exited was so cute! It was because she’s going to get married! Her name in the drama is Jeong Joo Ri, and on the invitation card, the name of her husband-to-be is none other than Andy!!!! Really a LOL moment.

27th May – recording of Ep 13 – 15 ( the one in everland and solbi’s confession)

28th May – Recording of Come to Play WGM special Shown on 6/9 and 6/16. also note that it was also the recording of andy in YTN Star live power music .. that is why on WGM 2 shown on 6/16 , he left early leaving solbi alone during ALSHIN and JOONGBO q& a portion

31st May - Broadcast of introducing a star friend andy and solbi guested …( this was prerecorded on May 19) this is after the ring incident … notice that even then andy is still concerned about solbi... advising her about her short skirt during limbo part but then he bluntly revealed that its better to have hyun young as a partner in we got married to w/c solbi replied that she thinks the same after seeing junjin …

1st Jun – WGM Ep 12 broadcast...CATS OUT OF THE BAG! Solbi lost the ring... A sad day for all AnBiholics but NOT FOR LONG...

3rd June - studio filming of WGM Ep 13- 14 and early part of ep 15

6th June - Andy was interviewed in KBS music bank where he guested and he said that everyone in WGM
are like reporters ( it seems that he is talking about the june 3rd studio filming ... because of how Solbi was honest about coming clean with her true feelings about him and Andy confessed his true feelings towards Solbi too in his own way... saying he's looking forward to seeing Solbi wear his ring publicly as an acceptance of her heart...)

8th June – WGM ep 13 broadcast... Everland episode. Andy still a little bit hurt over the lost ring episode and Solbi making it up to him but totally evading the topic

9th June – Come To Play part 1 broadcast... Andy pats Solbi's head lovingly when she expressed her bad feelings over him pulling rank on her whenever they tape black room interviews. Andy explained it's because she's always tipsy... wehehe...

11th June - filming of ep 16 .. 100th day special

12th June- Andy’s management company issued a statement that they thank solbi for her enthusiasm
(.. a sign of andy’s protection : ) maybe solbi is getting a lot of hate mails…

14th June – Andy concert in Tokyo where he confirm to fans that Solbi is not fat... broadcast of Star Golden Bell for Solbi where Daniel Choi expresses his admiration for her and where they even sang Love Song together... Andy and Solbi were also tagged by the shows host also as a match made in heaven

15th June - ep 14 broadcast

16th June- WGM come to play part 2 broadcast... Andy says his mom likes Solbi and asks him if he'd marry her for real.

17th June – studio filming of later part of ep 15 ( solbi’s confession) and ep 16 .. probably until ep 18

18th June - filming of the wet market episode. the one where they took picture with a baby .. where Solbi cooked eel for Andy ( they film this early I think because of Andy schedule in Paris. The first time they taped after Andy has known of Solbi's revelation on episode 15

19th June – Solbi releases her first digital single entitled CUTE love … the lyrics are supposed to be written by her and dedicated to ANDY .. Ohh and andy also flew to paris and stayed there for two weeks for a photoshoot and other stuff

6-7th Sep – Andys concert in Seoul on the 6th. WGM clips with Solbi was shown during the 6th Sep concert but was taken off for the 7th sep concert since so many Antis shouted for divorce

9th Sep – Filming Ep. 25 Chousok special for all 4 couples. Ansol got 2nd place for the fortune match at score 90 from 100 and they showed the cut scene which Ansol looked so good during the football match scene.
