![]() ![]() "Phobia" contains four short films from GTH studio’s four new-blood and world-renown filmmakers. The four master of horror consist of Banjong Pisanthanakun, Parkpoom Wongpoom (the director of Shutter and Alone), Phavee Purijidpanya (the director Body), and Youngyut Tongkontund (The producer of Alone and Body). All volunteer to create something unusually startling to the big screen. Each short has 25-minute limit. ![]() Loneliness (by Youngyut Tongkontund) Loneliness can cause a young girl to do stupid things, like a working girl in Loneliness. She’s lonely, unemployed and heartbroken. At this point, she’s on edge when receiving an unknown text message asking for her friendship. She starts communicating with the anonymous sender. Will she be regretting after finding out who he is? ![]() Last Fright (by Parkpoom Wongpoom) This chapter presents the mixture of phobia. It’s an inappropriate flight for anyone with claustrophobia, nyctophobia, fear of noise, fear of air pressure, and fear of corpses. All terror is waiting for one unlucky air hostesses who will face this alone. ![]() Deadly Charm (by Phavee Purijidpanya) Imagine a childish payback like write a joke about your friend’s parents on the blackboard. Then imagine a payback of vocational schoolboys who curse people they hate on a deadly charm. Let’s see how excruciating these curses will bring to the table. ![]() The Middle Man (by Banjong Pisanthanakun) A group of teenagers is camping in the wood. They think it’ll be fun to tell a scary story while mocking what a character will act in the horror movies. Unfortunately, the mystic ghosts they encounter are those that go against the grain of traditional rules in horror films. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Directed by: Youngyooth Thongkonthun( producer of Alone&Body#19) Banjong Pisanthanakun(director of Shutter&Alone) Parkpoom Wongpoom(director of Shutter&Alone) Paween Purikitpanya(director of Body#19) Produced by : Jira Maligool Written by : Youngyooth Thongkonthun Banjong Pisanthanakun Parkpoom Wongpoom Paween Purikitpanya Eakasit Thairatana Starring : Laila Boonyasak Maneerat Kham-uan Apinya Sakuljaroensuk Distributed by : GMM Tai Hub Release date(s) Thailand: April 25, 2008 International Trailer : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sy5YsWGYRoA...feature=related Watch Movie(no subs)/uploader channel : jojoboyne Watch Music Video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35WRDjQFUF0 Official Site : www.seeprang.com PS. recommened!!!! in Thailand this movie hits almost(?) 100 million baht!!! you shouldn't miss it! -------------------- |

I watched the trailer and it's dark and I'm alone in my room.
I'm getting scared already. I am really excited to watch this movie! I gotta admit that Thai and Japanese people know how to make some good ghost movies that put hollywood ghost/horror film to shame! I guess the DVD released didn't have english sub... will definitely check it out since im such a horror film fanatic. -------------------- bla bla bla

I found it with English subtitles!!!! But you can only watch it online!
Here it is: Loneliness http://www.crunchyroll.com/media-444998/4b...-Lonliness.html Deadly Charm http://www.crunchyroll.com/media-445006/4b...adly-Charm.html The Middle Man http://www.crunchyroll.com/media-445012/4b...-Middleman.html Last Flight http://www.crunchyroll.com/media-445018/4b...ast-Flight.html It's better to watch this at night. ^^ So please don't be a wimp. It seems that most people's favorites out of the 4 stories is the 3rd and the 4th story. And I have to agree. Those two stories are definitely the best of the four, and has a different "feel" to them. -------------------- bla bla bla

4bia in ASIA
Taiwan 19th september in the theaters (since today you are also able to watch Thai drama 'Love of Siam' in Taiwan) ![]() Hong Kong 4bia in second place at Hong Kong box office http://thaifilmjournal.blogspot.com/ QUOTE Saturday, September 13, 2008 4bia in second place at Hong Kong box office The horror omnibus 4bia has opened at second place at the Hong Kong box office. It made HK$214,000 from 27 screens on opening day on Thursday, coming in behind the Abba jukebox musical Mamma Mia! A study on four different fears, 4bia features four clever and loosely interconnected shorts by Yongyooth Thongkongtoon with the Shutter/Alone pair of Banjong Pisanthanakul and Parkpoom Wongpoom along with Paween Puritpanya each contributing segments. I expect this is just the start for 4bia, which picked up the third-place Public's Prize at the Fantasia Festival earlier this year. It will next be shown at the Bangkok International and at Pusan. The good reception in Vancouver shows this film has scares that resonate across cultures. And the box-office numbers in Hong Kong show that 4bia need not be limited to festival screenings. ![]() Singapore even in Singaporean theaters Meanwhile, the complete four-part 4bia hit Singapore last month, where it was in the top five for three weeks and took in more than S$600,000, according to an item on Page 7 of today's Daily Xpress. let's see Singaporeans comments on this Thai movie! http://www.sgclub.com/singapore/4bia_87658.html -------------------- |
