If you have some time, just try to listen to these bands:
1.) CHARCOAL FILTER 2.) ELLEGARDEN (J-Punk legend ==> most of their songs are in English and this band has the most fluent English songs in Japan.) 3.) GazzettE 4.) alice nine. 5.) what about AKG???? Asian Kung-Fu Generation. They're so laid-back, it's like nothing else. Seriously. Dir En Grey, Alice Nine, Gazette, Gackt - they're all pretty hardcore(esp. Dir En Grey). Word of warning: they're visual-kei, so expect some strange stuff. & esp. the Obscure video. I know I just jumped into that as a n00b, and everything was not the same afterwards...><; I'm just immature. :] -------------------- Happy is the now;

my fave band: DIR EN GREY!!!! they're stuff is PHENOMENAL! Kyo, the vocalist, has a powerful voice and the rest of the members are awesome at their instruments. if you're like afraid of crazystuff, i dont really recc their PVs
 my fave jrock idol: MIYAVI<3 lol he's a lil more towards pop nowadays, but his older stuff is AMAZING~ other highly recommended bands are -The GazettE -D'espairs Ray -ELLEGARDEN ( theyre on hiatus now :[ ) -ONE OK ROCK -Girugamesh -alice nine. -Sadie, though im not too into their new stuff -Suicide Ali -12012 -flumpool, ithink theyre more poprock though other bands i like are, MUCC (Libra<3), Nightmare, D, Lolita23q, Juliadoll, Heidi. and more that i can't really think of at the moment --------------------  November 14, 2008 @ Terminal 5 November 14, 2009 @The Blender same day. same month. dir en grey ♥ |

It's one of their earlier songs, but this was performed at their final concert so it's got Ryuichi's later voice. But it's one of my favorite performances EVER: [ link ] I was also really big into MALICE MIZER, and I still have a soft spot for them. They're for those who like orchestral 18th century French vampire obsessed music.
