FAQ biography of joondi   Korean Character Name: Goo Jun Pyo (구준표) Japanese Character Name: Domyoji Tsukasa (道明寺 司) Roleplayed by: Lee MinHo (이민호) Goo JunPyo is the leader of the F4. At the beginning of the series, he is JanDi's biggest enemy, but as the story progresses, he becomes her love interest. JunPyo is one of the heirs of Shinhwa Company, and his family is extremely rich. Junpyo spent much of his childhood on his own; his parents were always overseas, and his older sister--as loving as she could be--was always busy studying and eventually got married. His mother, Kang Hee Soo, is cold to him, and although she loves him, wants to control his life for the sake of preserving the family name. Jandi's retaliation in the hallway sparks JunPyo's interest, and he is immediately attracted to her daring and strength (the traits he used to admire in his older sister). Despite the harassment he puts her through to keep up appearances, he also constantly tries to do things to impress her - such as trying unsuccessfully to straighten his hair after she tells him that she can't stand his curly-top. Because he has grown up in luxury and is used to always getting his way, JunPyo is initially not very good at interacting with JanDi. He frequently makes fun of her family's poverty and responds angrily when she refuses to do as he says. As time passes, however, he begins to mature and develop a greater understanding of how to interact positively with others.   Korean Character Name: Geum JanDi (금잔디) Japanese Character Name: Makino Tsukushi (牧野 つくし) Roleplayed by: Goo Hye Sun (구혜선) Geum Jandi is the main female character in the drama, Boys Over Flowers, and is one of the very few students at the prestigious Shinhwa University to come from an 'unwealthy' family. She is admitted to that school when she caused an uproar as she tried to saved a student from jumping off the school building.The citizens believe that Shinhwa school does not do any better to the society and bourgeoisie schools should be demolished. To calm the citizens down, JanDi is then admitted to the school. Jandi, being a commoner as she is, does not have friends at school and so she is determined to remain as invisible as possible until graduation. However, she sticks her neck out to defend her friend who accidentally bumps into F4 leader Goo Jun Pyo. The next day, a red tag is found hanging in Jandi's locker, the F4's "declaration of war," officially marking her for future torment from the F4 and the rest of the student body. But, unlike most of the F4's targets, JanDi stands up for herself, showing how strong a 'weed/grass' can be. In this process, she lets her fierce determination and her stubborn, hardworking ways show through, and in the end turns all of the F4 into her friends. At first, JanDi hates all of the F4 except Yoon Ji Hoo, (whom she has romantic feelings towards). But, as JiHoo goes off to chase after SeoHyun, JanDi slowly falls in love with the hotheaded leader, JunPyo.     |

A thread for this couple I so rooting for them! Although I do LOVE JI HOO <33 I'm rooting for these two. LOL I'm too into this drama, I haven't seen the Taiwanese or Japanese version yet, I just started watching the Korean one I like it, once this whole series comes out and I finish, I might watch the other ones

they´re soooo cute together! AT first I thought the actress portraying JanDi reeally was not good, like ugly and her expression are sometimes kinda overacted or say better acted weirdly (her voiuce sound annoying sometimes - too high or too low or too sudden, not pretty) - but now i got used to her and she actually really Cute!!
And of course JoonPyo is just The Perfect One for this role. LOVE them!! |
