Jaejoong, Junsu and Yoochun did request a disposition (note: not a lawsuit yet) asking SM to release them from their contracts. Yunho and Changmin aren't involved. This isn't just a rumour, it's FACT. What remains a rumour is DBSK breaking up, athough if the three win (which they are very likely to - read below) then it is a possibility. 'DBSK' and 'DBSK Disposition' are hot issues on Korean portal sites right now and articles keep being uploaded, and it looks like SM is removing old posts by the members on their official website.

SM's side of the story (straight from the mouth of their representatives):
While DBSK probably makes the most money in SM Entertainment, don't think for a second that SM Entertainment is smart enough to keep them. Look at H.O.T. (LSM denied they were breaking up when articles began to appear about them breaking up just like they are now about DBSK; a few days later H.O.T. announced they were breaking up) and Shinhwa (SM only wanted to negotiate new contracts with two of the members; they are amazing for being able to leave SM Entertainment TOGETHER and buy the name Shinhwa from SM Entertainment). On the other hand, note that the three asked to be released from their current contracts. This doesn't necessarily mean that DBSK are breaking up or that the members are leaving SM Entertainment (they could sign new contracts). The only thing you can be sure of is the fact that the three members are not happy with their current contracts and would like to be released from them. If ever they will leave SM, I hope, all of them & not just three. I think they can stand on their own feet now. They don't need SM Entertainment anymore. BUT BUT... SM needs them. SM can't let them go. So they WON'T DISBAND..

erm, ok.
from my point of view, i doubt db will be disbanded. if they really leaving the company, most likely will leave as a group. and actually. i'm waiting for this day to come. i don't really like sm company.. the way they treat the artistes and stuff.. sm only concentrates on making them famous in asia. and i don't like the way the company treats jang ri in and cheonsang. even if favorable agreements are met, their relationship won't be as close as before. changing a company is a sooner or later thing. |

What makes me worry the most is the fact the five of them are not together on this, the boys are divided in two camps and it's scaring me to death to know that. i can't believe this is happeningn yunho looked so happy in his stalker pictures just yesterday, and now this?
and what's gonna happend with avex???? i don"t know what to thinkbut i really feel that this is not just a rumor... -------------------- ![]() |

^ stellar_remnants Thank you for making such an organised post about the issue, it highlights what is going on.
I knew there was something different about this "rumour", it felt different. What horrible news I hope everything can be resolved and nothing happens to split the boys up; I'm not sure how I could take that. UGH even just this news is heartbreaking. That earnings split is ridiculous. That along justifies their actions, in my opinion, -------------------- ★ 9 ★ 13 ★ 4 ★ 5 ★ ♥ Always Keep The Faith ♥ ♥ 13eyond Your Imagination ♥ ![]() ★ 제:아 ★ 슈퍼주니어 ★ 씨엔블루 ★ 동방신기 ★ © Shenlu@tohosomnia.net |

i agree with you Sanya, the fact that they r not standing together on this is scaring me more~ to me, it looks like their contracts r like slave contracts, 8:2, and 9:1, and then dbsk still has to split the 10%-20% among the 5 members, so each get like 2-5% for their hardwork~ and JYP splits it 5:5, cnt believe their is such a BIG difference~
i seriously think that yunho as the leader should support the 3 boys if they were to negotiate with SM -------------------- ![]() "If compared to a movie, Dong Bang Shin Ki isn't a movie with one main story. wOw, the profit split is so unfair with DBSK getting so little. That is truly unfair and the boys deserve so much more for their hard work, effort and talent. But I don't get why only JaeChunSu are wanting to be released from their contracts....Does HoMin just accept the unfair treatment given by SM ? The only thing making me so so worried rite now is whether DBSK will disband.. I don't care about their entertainment company just that the boys will always be five together.

I think that everyone of us are really shocked at what is happening... but we must know be desperate about it..
i think that the boys must have really think about this ( if this is true) and as it it said, it is not a lawsuit yet but a disposition.. However if for 2 month SM hasn't been able to reach an agreement and that they are 'shocked' that this happened ( again is this is true) then I think they must be some kind of ''dummy'' .. I mean who would continue normally with a contract that makes them like a slave and while they work their ass off everyday??? Come on I mean.. But aren't the guys at Japan??? Aren't they preparing for A nation actually??? And if all the above is true, how come the two others accept it?? A bit weird all of that.. Guess that we will all have to wait now EDIT : Weren't they making plans with SM right now??? however this does collides with only YH and CM having solo activities and not yet for the others ( JJ already filmed last year) -------------------- ![]() Always Believe |

What I don't get is why Yunho and Changmin aren't wanting to be released from their contracts too? If Junsu, Yoochun and Jaejoong sign new contracts with SM, does that mean Yunho and Changmin will receive less profit than the rest of the boys and will also get treated more harshly?
It doesn't make sense, why 5 of them aren't in it together! -------------------- |

my instinct about this problem is really right, there is a problem.
this is the hardest days of Cassiopeians. im rooting for a Korean Comeback but i think it will not be anymore. all i want to advice is that ready you're hearts if ever. because we don't know what will happen. SM entertainment is very cunning. based on my observations, they are not as kind as we know. Lets respect everyone decisions here. pray for them. -------------------- ![]() |

I don't know but I feel that korea news tend to exaggerate. I remember reading news that varies from versions to versions.
So, only the official statement from SM or the boys will convince me. And to think that the group had split views on this, is not convincing. But of course if they find the contract unfair, they should have the right to fight it. And SM, will definitely be the biggest loser of all. -------------------- |

I think this time is difficult situation for Yunho and Changmin because currently they will film drama and if they are on this strike with other three... it will make difficult situation that involve many people including production of the drama. -------------------- |

The only thing you can be sure of is the fact that the three members are not happy with their current contracts and would like to be released from them. You do have a point there. Issuing a lawsuit against their contract might not mean they are disbanding. SM will be thinking of a solution now as he doesn't want to lose his most precious artiste from his company - I don't think he can bear it. I do hope this will be settled, or at least, calm down abit by today. I am worried, but not until I hear from the boys, then I will be truly convinced by it. -------------------- ♥ ♥_______________Always Keep the Faith______________♥ ♥ TVXQ SNSD Suju Lee HyoRi Lee JunKi WG TaeGoon CSS SS501 LBH © JJ.exot5ia ♥ © july_first ♥ |

sorry for my english, i'm really anxious now
i'm okay with them leaving SM but together! Not just 3 of them. also about Yunho stalking pics, he looks happy there. Does it mean he knew nothing about JaeSuChun plans or he thinks there's nothing to be worried about? And what i'm really curious about: Yunho and Changmin aren't with the others members. Does it mean their contracts are different? Somebody know anything about it? Arggh~! So many questions! What about AVEX and their japanese activities? Please stay together!!! |
