it's not really SM's project group, it's just a project group with a member of THREE DIFFERENT COMPANIES!

SM엔터테인먼트, 싸이더스HQ, 젊은제작자연대 등 대형 기획사들이 한명씩 각출해 만들 프로젝트 그룹 24/7가 25일 서울 강남구 신사당에 위치한 씨네씨티에서 기자 간담회를 갖고 그 모습을 드러냈다. 기존의 가수 그룹들이 한 소속사에서 만들어지는 것과 달리 그룹 24/7는 그룹 트랙스 출신의 노민우(SM엔터테인먼트)와 현우(싸이더스HQ), 이장우(젊은제작자연대)로 구성됐다. 특히 이들은 MBC 일일시트콤 '태희혜교지현이'에서 정선경이 운영하는 기획사의 연습생으로 출연해 눈길을 끌고 있다. 노민우, 현우, 이장우는 시트콤들 통해 가수로 데뷔하기까지 얼마나 힘든 일인지 생생히 전달할 예정이다. 멤버들은 지난해 12월 이 시트콤의 오디션이 나란히 합격했고 이후 서로 가능성을 알아돈 각 소속사 관계자들이 프로젝트 그룹을 제의하며 결성된 것으로 알려졌다. 이들이 뭉치게 된 또다른 이유로는 음반시장의 불황이 한 몫했다. 한 회사에서 신인 솔로를 띄우기 위해서는 막대한노력이 소모되기에 이를 공동으로 부담하기로 한 것. 젊은제작자연대 장석우 고문은 "음반시장이 침체한 상황에서 불황을 돌파하고자 세 기획사가 뭉치게 됐다"며 "남성 그룹 신화의 벤치마킹이라고 할 수도 있다. 멤버들 모두 가수로 오랫동안 준비한 만큼 실력은 탄탄하다"라고 밝혔다. 한편, 멤버들은 "단순한 프로모션 차원으로 그룹을 결성한 것은 아니다"라며 "오랫동안 준비한만큼 가수로서 실력을 보여주겠다"고 포부를 밝혔다.
