err im sorry if this sounds kinda gross.. it's just that im kinda worried cuz whenever i cough out my phlegm, i see these tiny black streaks.. i caught a cold lastweek but my runny nose stopped after two days. my coughing usually stops before my runny noes goes away but this time it didnt. i still cough a lot right noww and i often see black strands along with the phlegm i cough out. i really don't know whyy. i've never smoked before, and no one in my family or friends smoke so i dont really get exposed to second hand smoke that much either.. does anyone know why and what these streaks are?

Based on what I googled you should see a doctor. and maybe bring a sample ?

It might be air pollution, unless you live in a pretty rural area--when I lived in Beijing, I had black streaks in my phlegm as well.
