Yes, not everyone has great performances, but its not like Taeyeon was so bad, its just they don't fit together for a duet. Maybe if they practiced more, they might have been able to find a happy medium with their voices, but who knows.

ikr? i'm trying not to be too ~overprotective~ or anything, but seriously, it was ONE performance and people are jumping down her throat for being a 'mediocre' singer. i'll be the first to admit that taeyeon is no whitney houston or diana ross, but she holds a decent tune and has a nice voice (imo anyway). for that, she's already doing a LOT better than some other female 'singers' around these days.

I agree. Taeyeon is a natural singer. She's really good. But she gets tired and sometimes things just don't go well. The performance was still good, though. She did her best.

I think that's why I always feel happy when I read comments such as "Wah I didn't know the SNSD girls can sing like that" or "they are talented" from non-SONE, because I feel like, outside of our fandom, people are not acknowledging their talents yet

Taeyeon is an amazing singer without a doubt ....and nothing can change that , like you guys i was pretty shocked by the ''criticism '' as those ppl like to call it ...but it didnt make me angry or sad cuz we know for a fact how good of a singer she is . but it is true that ppl can be sooo critical when it comes to soshi ..lol...as if tthings like this would decrease their popularity ..which is never goin to happen anyway .....so i'm just waiting and will be watching when taeyeon is goin to give a damn good perf and blow those ppls heads away even though they wont admit ..lol ..taeyeon FTW !!!

I dunno why u guys want to butt in to that thread to comment on it...... it's very obvious the thread gonna filled with tons of harsh comments judging from the title itself, no matter how much u defend Tae Yeon in there, there will be more to come and negate ur defending over Tae Yeon..... The moment I saw the thread I oredy see this coming and I don't even care to click into the thread and read it.....

I've never really care for the threads in the photo section as it jus serves as the source for me to get some kpop news, but then again most of the news there were taken from blogs like akp and kbites, so I can read it myself at those blogs, as for SNSD news, there are all in this thread so it's pointless for me to read it again nor do I care if other ppl gonna read them...... my reason to read the news is to know wat's happening to the artist mentioned in the news, not to see ppl give their "point of view as an expert" regarding the issues....

Like how some of the incidents in kpop history keep repeating, ppl will diss on a single artist based on a very small mistake, this kind of "culture" or "tradition" doesn't start today, nor it will end today.....it will keep repeating(yes it will, cos that's humanity if u wan me to say).... so u'll either read it and leave it, or u want to read it and take on the challenge to debate with others..... for me I'm definitely going for read it and leave it, cos either way, Tae Yeon will still be a good singer known by ppl in Korea, lots of ppl including big stars like her and her voice........ so I don't see the point to debate over a fact ----------> Tae Yeon is a good singer........ so wat would u guys do?
