There's still much time before the shooting starts so Taewon-SM could take some time before deciding on a member. Note that SM has cancelled offers like this before... hopefully this one really happens.

Oh yeah! IRIS 2 role + OSTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been aching for them to some OST songs (and rock songs, jazz songs, power ballads, RnB, lolol) I think the role will go to Yuri, but let's wait and see. Homgz~ OST + acting role

Like most of you said, Yuri and Sooyoung would fit Iris's concept more. I would love to see Yoona do a romantic comedy instead.
They're participating in the OST too? Loved the songs by Seo Inyoung and Baek Jiyoung in Iris 1. I have a feeling they might push for a solo OST song by Taeyeon.

My suggestion would be to hold a special where they plan to film at, lol, j/k. Still, I think even though the Asia Tour is something to consider, its only going to be a few days for the concert per month, so they can adjust their schedule around SNSD a bit.

yeah that's what i thought before...maybe the pd from IRIS...was going to snsd concert and saw that tough angel clip..
and create a character put it into new IRIS 2..new assassin or lover...fiuh...
from the schedule is june, so seems not conflict with their schedule promotion at shanghai, japan, and bangkok..hope sm will take this offer, since it was announced by taewoon production.
because from this series snsd also can be promoted around the world...so win win promotion...^^

It has been stated from the different articles regarding IRIS "SNSD Special Role" that it could be this member's first venture into acting, so applying the process of elimination, Yoona is definitely out of the equation, she having appeared in two major drama series as the female lead.

So, the choices would be from the remaining EIGHT, but if its either Taeyeon & Hyoyeon would be a welcome surprise.

Hence, if the role requires for an english speaking individual, then its a toss between Jess & Fany.

If SME decides to give the role to the members heavily promoted nowadays, then its among:

Yuri - the sexy, dark and rebellious kind;
Sooyoung - the statusque, street-smart, and model-like feel; and
Seohyun - the innocent type.

Whoever it is, i would be happy and supportive just the same.
