My friend, who is a major fashionista is often mistaken for a celebrity while at the airport because of the way she dresses - especially with the huge, dark sunglasses that celebrities hide behind
So tell us! 1. Have you ever been mistaken for a celebrity? (e.g: because of the way you were dressed, had dark sunglasses on, etc) 2. If you were a celebrity, what would you be seen wearing at the airport? Links & images would be appreciated! -------------------- ★PERFORMANCE |

No, but I had a younger girl walk up to me in a Taco Bell and ask me if I was a model, because I'm "really, really, pretty".
She was adorable. Probably like 12. -------------------- |

I think it's easy for anyone to look like a celebrity at the airport.
Have a baseball cap or some form of a hat on (baseball cap is most common - Ed Hardy does it, from what I've seen). Big black sunglasses are an ABSOLUTE MUST and keep them on at all times. Lastly, a Louis Vuitton duffel bag. BAM! - instant celebrity status. |

It's really easy, literally anyone can be mistaken for a celebrity at the airport. Just wear big shades and some expensive bag with a small entourage and there you go! Back when I was blonde and at an airport in Germany, I overheard a few girls whispering among themselves and wondering if I was Ayumi Hamasaki, haha. I really look nothing like her so it was probably just the over-sized shades, curled blonde hair and long nails.
Comfort is so important to me when travelling, I just wear purple sweats, a shirt with a hoodie to cover my head and throw on a pair of huge shades. I doubt I get mistaken for a celebrity for more than 1 second (and that's only cuz of the shades), lol. -------------------- |

Big dark sunglasses can really draw all the attention to the person who's wearing it. Lol...

If I was that girl, I would've thought so too! You are, undeniably gorgeous, even from a girl's POV! yeah.. some kids in vietnam thought i was a Korean actress and start to talk to me in English... it was funny and cute i didnt say anything and kinda went along ahaha 'kinda' Oh wow, do you know which actress it was? You must've been flattered! This one girl said i look like Yuri from Kaba Modern. but I dont think so. xD Well, beauty is within the eye of the beholder No, I look like crap. PristineNyte If that's you on your avatar, YOU ARE "really, really pretty" lols.
I think it was my friend Kristin that happened to her cause she always wear those big black sunglasses, she's always so stylish with her hairstyle and clothes. She always wear designer bags cause she comes from a rich family. omg.. I remember whenever she comes to church, all the girls would all be jealous and spread lie rumors about her 0.0; sorry it was just like a flashback moment -.-; anyways.. back to topic. I do wear with style at the airport, well more like USED TO.. cause when the airport security got more strictly, I started to wear very comfortable clothes that is bit loose. I used to wear a lot of accessories, but not anymore. IT'S A PAIN IN THE *SS you know why?! BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP noise DRIVES ME CRAZY! -------------------- |

Nope lol. I dress so casual when I'm traveling. Hoodies, sweatshirts =] But I don't wear hats or sunglasses. 2. If you were a celebrity, what would you be seen wearing at the airport? I've only seen Leon Lai at the airport and he was dressed in tshirt and jeans hahas. -------------------- ♥ 如果我變成回憶 退出了這場生命。。 |

No, not at the airport but I've had people come up and tell me that they thought I'm a fashion model. haha.
And when I went to Thailand, we were riding elephants and there were people running after my elephant screaming "MISS KOREA!!" lmao. That was really funny. |

Nope, never been mistaken for a celebrity but when I went to Thailand I've been receiving compliments left and right like from the taxi driver, people at the the mall and some people I randomly met- I was thinking maybe it's the Thai way. They like giving compliments to foreigners. LOL!
I do agree though that dark shades would really draw in attention especially when you're at the airport - I have dark shades but take it off when I arrive at the airport(can't really see those directions especially when you arrive at dawn) most celebrities however don't take off their shades even they arrive at dawn or night time. |

I was shopping and noticed two girls, they were probably about 13 or so, that kept whispering and I overheard them saying "omg, i think that's the girl from camp rock." and the other girl said "wait, are you sure? omg it is!!" Then I noticed that they kept following me and taking pictures, I just ignored them and went about my business. I don't know why they thought I was Anna Maria Perez de Tagle considering I don't look like her at all nor do I dress like her.

Hahaha. Now that would make my day if someone thought I was a celebrity at the airport. This girl stared at me once and she was like, "You're really pretty". But that was when I had a crapload of makeup on and looked totally different from my usual self. Haha
