Is it possible to remove a non-inflammatory pimple..., It has seem to be permanent, frozen, lump that looks inflammatory... |

HELP!!!
i have these non-inflammatory pimples that were originally pimples but somehow have seemed to stop being inflammatory or even a pimple. It's just a lump now >.< This happened after i have taken a prescribed drug from my dermatologist. However, even without the drug, it just naturally stops being inflammatory and becomes just a lump that looks inflammatory! what is it called or how can i remove it! it's permanent, doesn't hurt, can't be popped because no longer a pimple *i think* nor is it inflammatory. I asked my dermatologist if it can be removed somehow but he said that it can't. I'm pretty sure anything is possible? But i will ask again on my next appointment. It sounds like theyre scars? Sometimes when acne stretches out the skin it leaves either a slight discoloration that can be yellow, brown, red, or pink.

can't you freeze-dry remove them?

most likely its a scar now.
Just ask ur doctor if you can get a coritzone shot. I got it a couple of times for some on my back...but i guess it depends on where the "lump" is located. |

From your description sounds like a cyst to me...For cysts the only way you can remove it is to surgically remove it...Cysts are pimple puss ( you know the white heads/blackheads that usually form right in your pores) But cysts develop really deep down your skin, beyond the pores.

is it like a big lump that's sorta hard but not really?
iono if this works everytime, but i managed to remove one big one on my forehead a few weeks ago w/ these pimple stickers from Nexcare. My friend got them from Taiwan. you could probably order them online. |

I once had a big pimple on the tip of my nose. It was kinda embarrassing so I couldn't really keep my hands off it. Now I'm regretting it cause there's a a permanent reddish spot on my nose that looks like a pimple but isn't. Will whitening products help?

I know what you're talking about, and yup, it's a scar. You can probably lighten it (w/ acne scar fading products) but not remove it.

i don't know if it's a cyst because it's not big, it's just the size of a normal inflammatory pimple yet is hard *lump* on my back yes. I will ask my doctor or dermatologist again if it's removable because it's affecting my self esteem =.=
