they're all avoiding this thread..because they're too busy trying to not be hmong...
or they are just too invovled in their own little thing that doesn't relate to being hmong... anywho00 now there's more hmong bands.. like 'watching leona' (that group from wisconsin) or 'evo' (that group from nc) there's alot of other talented hmong people out there now..and they can blow the crowd like alicia keys or something.. i went to st-paul..and there was this singing competition..man.. the girl who sang 'AIN'T GOT YOU'..she totally rocked the stage.. awesome..but cool that yo're making such a thread like this.. 'I'M HMONG TOO'.. ^,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,^v that 'YOU ARE THE ONE' song..i liked it..probably the only song i liked .. and that paradise song i forgot the name of it.. but theres some french in it too-- -------------------- |

STX was good..i forgot about htem...
they sang alot of korean songs..before korean music became popular in the hmong community--- they did one of 'bijou's old music... one hmong group that sucks.. 'INNERSENSES'..damn..they killed 'SES's songs.... let's see... there was another group 'DIVA and DR. TEENS'.. (funky name) but they sang this one thai song i really liked.. or how about.. LUE YANG--and CHA-Mee..XDDD or now.. DAWJ THOJ---that's some real hmong music---XDD -------------------- |

I don;t listen to much of it even though I am Hmong. Maybe because I don't really get what they're trying to say?
well.. I listened to some.. No Love - Pray For Me. My cousin's in there so I had a chance to listen to them.

LOL. cha me, lue yang, and dawb thoj. <--- that is real hmong music right there. what was the guy's song.....it was so funny/odd ---> "hello, hello I love you" in a fobby way. LOL back in the day when i was still a kid.

There really isn't a lot of good hmong bands.. the guys sounds hecka hilarious.. I hate the tone of voice they use.. that sweet tone.. ewww.. major turn off.. hahha..
the only hmong bands I like are: High Voltage gotta love them.. ^__^ my cousin sang ib sim neej with that guy. Paradise.. the newer group Whyteshadows. -------------------- |

You can listen to EVO (Every Valiant Oath) on their MySpace website. Sorry I can't remember the link. There's a lot of other Hmong Rock Bands on MySpace, such as Watching Leona, Reliance, MosHlub... I can't think of any other ones.. But there's a lot if you look around.
I love Hmong music, doesn't matter if it's Fobby or not, but my current favorite Hmong Group is Karma.. You can check out some music at http://www.hlub.us .. They got a few of Karma's on there and some other bands as well. |

i like some hmong music. i like certain songs more so than the artist's whole album.
i think the person that won for hmong idol has a very good voice. american style voice. i think you can find her performance on youtube.
