hey! i just discovered corrine bailey rae while watching vhl's "you oughta know" segment...and loved her song "put your records on" I just wanted to spread the word...i think she's wonderful! Her music is jazz/billy holiday/norah jones...very calming lyrics..perfect for a warm sunny day (right now!). I bought her album a week ago and it's absolutely great. One of the few cds I can listen the entire way through. If you go on her myspace, you can watch a full length concert. She's so cute when she performs.
edit: Just wanted to say, if you haven't bought her cd, GO BUY IT! It's that good. =] 9.99 at Target or 12.99 at Borders -------------------- |

I liked 'put your record on', but haven't heard of her other songs.

yep i heard and saw her 'put your records on' video a few months ago. i like her voice, its very calming. but i read somewhere that her influences had Led Zepplin in amongst some others, which i found pretty awesome....
