i agree with you, xx|outsider|xx, about the acting. i think the drama is so great is because of the acting by all the people. secondly is the plot. the only thing i wished was that at least haruto could give aya a hug or something but this is an old issue already been discussed.
i have to say that ryo is really an effective actor. he comes across emotionaly open even tho his character is suppose to be cold and cool. |

I've just finished this series yesterday
This is the only one sad series that I was willing to watch in this period I have a lot of stress lately and always in bad mood so that I decided to watch comedy dramas I started with My girl, then Hana yori dango and Kimi wa petto! I laughed alot and felt somehow happy Then suddenly I remember the name of 1 Liter of tears, I'm heard that this Jdrama is so sad, it takes heart-broken and bla bla bla... I dont know why I decided to watch it, maybe curious After watching episode 1, I was really into it The ending song, the words in Aya's diary and all of her pictures just made me cry I started to be addicted and watched it non-stop I cried a lot, I feel that I could somehow understand the pain she had If it were me, I could not be able to stand like that I cried most in the last episode because she could not be with the ones she loves At that moment, when Aya passed away, I had a thinking of people who could never win over destiny But the end of the drama, I realized that even though people could not win over destiny but with trying to to something won't make you regret I really really like all the OST of 1 Liter of tears, they are so meaningful and nice and I decide to smile more than make a sad face  The lyric I love most in Only human by K is " On the other hand of sadness, it's said that there is a smile" I'll remember it ^^ "1 Liter of tears" is definitely a great Jdrama to watch --------------------  |

Wow...Just wow..This drama was amazing.
The girl who played Aya was really pretty, although her teeth bugged me a bit...But nonetheless she is beautiful and was AMAZING in this drama. At first when I saw Haruto, I was like "He's not that good looking, what's the big deal?" Then as the drama progressed...I just found him more and more attractive for some reason =) and like everyone else...Episode 8 hit me the hardest....Gosh I needed so many tissues in this episode, but I think I cried in every episode  lolAnyway, if you still don't have this drama and/or the OST, I have a link where I downloaded it...It has episode 1-11 subbed and the OST (although the OST doesn't include March 9, Only Human, and Konayuki, but other people have uploaded it...) http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/lofiversion/index.php/t63148.html -------------------- ‣‣‣ oderint dum metuant -- Let them hate, so long as they fear...

I'm watching this right now.
Wow. This story is amazing. There's some cute scenes in it, but it's really complicated and serious. It's so sad how much Aya has to go through just to stay alive. I think the actress really portrays the struggle in having the disease really well. And I love all the interactions between Aya and Haruto. So cute! edit-- Finished it yesterday. I CRIED LITERS OF TEARS. God, I LOVE this drama. Very touching and inspirational. |

i kind of rewatched my favorite ep again because i took a clip from it to put on youtube so i also made caps. it's ep8 and my favorite scene. it's where haruto defends aya. this was basically the scene(s) that i cried bucketsful while watching.
