it seems there isn't a thread yet about takuya's upcoming drama here in soompi so i am creating this...
English Title:The Grand Tribe Broadcasting network:TBS Target airing date:January 14,2007 Sundays at 9pm Takuya will be playing a businessman in this drama and shooting has started already,the crew starting off some scenes in Shanghai as this city is perfect for the time that the drama was set to be made which is the 70's. Takuya will be playing the eldest son of a very rich family,Teppei, and is married to Sanae which will be played by Hasagawa Kyoko.  Kyoko if someone can add some more facts and updates please do so as I might not be updated all the time(job can oftentimes be a hinder to our jdoramas/kdramas  )I am just so excited to see TK again in another drama! --------------------  many thanks to chris for my siggy and Chula for my ava |

im ready to see more takuya hottness hehehe..but the storyline is very intriguing..something different..im glad siatnut decided to sub this...

Besides Kimura, here's a (partial) cast list taken from wiki:
 Suzuki Kyoka (鈴木京香) as Takasu Aiko (39)  Hasegawa Kyoko (長谷川京子) as Manpyo Sanae (30) - didn't really like her in "Dragon Zakura"...  Yamamoto Koji (山本耕史) as Manpyo Ginpei (31) - haven't watched him since "Under One Roof"   Nakamura Toru (仲村トオル) as Mima Ataru (44) - I think he's underrated.  Inamori Izumi (稲森いずみ) as Tsuruta Fusako (32) - cool, I like her.  Narimiya Hiroki (成宮寛貴) as Ichinose Yoshihiko (26) - Narimiya?!?!!!   Nishimura Masahiko (西村雅彦) as Zenigata (52) - hmm he seems to be in everything.  Yanagiba Toshiro (柳葉敏郎) as Mikumo Shoichi (50) - he was great in "29 sai no Kurisumasu".  Nishida Toshiyuki (西田敏行) as Ookawa Ichiro (60) - omg I love his character in "Tiger and Dragon" . Takeda Tetsuya (武田鉄矢) as Oogame Senma (60) - even the dad from "Virgin Road"! Damn this is a dream cast, the supporting actors are SO solid. I wasn't planning on watching it until I saw this list. Is the drama for TBS xx anniversary or something? -------------------- |

have uploaded karei-naru special which is 24mins long into my cb in case anyone wants to see some scenes in the drama,some bts and an interview of tk. i do hope this will be a good drama..i have this inkling feeling that this won't be what i expect it to be...just like his engine drama...

Whoa, I had no idea Hiroki was in this too. I was so dazed by the words "Kimura Takuya" that I totally ignored everything else. XD Can't wait to see him as well.

dadedum, I totally agree!!! Nakamura Toru is so underrated! He truly deserves more recognization!!! Love him since World of Ice...and some other Chinese movies.
