I'm not sure if there's already a topic on him, but I couldn't find one. He's absolutely my favourite singer ^^ Anyone know who he is? I've been supporting him for a while, and his songs are getting more and more popular =) His more well known songs are "Jiang Nan" (River South), "Yi Qian Nian Yi Hou" (A Thousand Years Later), "Mu Nai Yi" (Mummy). For those who haven't heard of him before.. download those songs, they're great songs.

So... he's from singapore, and he composes his songs, and he wrote songs for other aritsts such as Cyndi Wang, A-do, Vivian Hsu (and more), and are seen in their albums. There was something about him and a song done at 18? He's turning 25 real soon, and has 4 albums out.

He has been preparing his new album in USA, and said it will release in Feb.

In Jan (this month I guess), he'll be releasing "Xie Zhen Ji", which is like a picture book. I THINK his new song that he sang at the Taiwan countdown is for this..

He's having a concert after his 4th album is released. I keep hearing different dates, apparantly now it's around may of this year.

He's going to enter the Japanese music at the end half of this year. JJ's going to release Bian Hao 89757, which will have a Japanese version of "Yi Qian Nian Yi Hou".

OB music is planning for him to enter the Korean market later on.. maybe in 2007.

JJ's also received a few offerings for acting. As for that, his company is choosing for him. If things goes according to plan, he'll start to film around the end half of this year.

He's going to be in the Chinese New Year celebration show.. on CCTV.

He's one of my most favorite recent Chinese artists. Very talented guy.....but I dislike how they keep comparing him with Jay Chou. They're both very talented with different genres of music, IMO. I love his songs.

Even though I can't see my favorite expression on him these days. I went to his fan meeting kinda thing when "Jiang Nan" was red hot. He was just the most modest, lovable person, even though I don't find him physically attractive. Nowadays he's getting less expressive. But whatever, I'll still support him and everything. Just that my favorite JJ has been gone since the third album released.

But I was slightly disspointed on his latest album. However, Jiang NAN was so awesome, so probably it was kind of hard to beat.

Jiang Nan has this unique chinese taste to it, love it ^^ I think Yi Qian Nian Yi Hou is just as good, and maybe even better.

I think "Jiang Nan" will be his ultimate classic hit. I don't think any other song is going to beat its popularity. "1000 Years Later" is good too but I find the composition and lyrics to be below the par set by "Jiang Nan" even though both songs are catchy enough. I prefer the more poetical lyrics as opposed to the ones just about love, how I'll never forget your love, I miss your love, and blah blah haha...

^ Agree. Jiang Nan definitely will always be JJ's most popular piece, and with good reason too. I fell in love with him through this song.

Yeah, JJ may not be attractive but he is a really talented musician. My friend is a big fan of his. I don't know that many of his songs, but I love Jiang Nan, Yi Qian Nian Yi Hou, Mu Nai Yi and Bian Hao 89757.

This may be totally irrelevant, but I completely dislike his current hair and fashion styles. He used to wear toned down colors and casual suits with that sexy tie with a lot but not tacky bling. His stylist is trying too hard to make him look mainstream, and I don't think JJ represents the mainstream kind of artist - like those tall, handsome, sharp dressers but sell their looks. JJ's recent blue BLUE and hot pink shirts really freak me out. I rarely ever see him anymore without tacky, flashy jewelry or sequins/shimmer of some sort.

I feel bad that they're pushing him to conform. While image and looks doesn't change his music, he just looks more distanced. He's starting to look like this entertainer (whom I'll not say because he's extremely popular).

Whatever, as long as his attitude is good, it's all fine. Fans love him and thinks he's adorable for his attitude, and I think that's what a celebrity has to have.

There still is a bit of accent, not a lot, you'll be able to tell he's Asian when you hear the song. But, it's still amazing. What makes it better is he wrote the lyrics and the music =]

I was in Taiwan when they gave that massive concert with Jay Chou, Avril Lavigne, JJ Lin, Landy Wen, Bi... Everybody! I saw him perform and I was like... OMG WHO IS THIS? So I went out directly and bought his CD. He's adorable, and he has such an amazing voice. Even the adults in Taiwan know about him, I asked around about him and they were like, "He has really good vocal cords." HAHAHA JJ~ <3 It's a major plus that he knows Chinese and English too.

My favorite songs are Bullet Train and Endless Road. Does anybody have his MV for Bullet Train? Or was there an MV for Bullet Train?

Ever since I left Taiwan and came back here, I haven't been keeping up with him lately. WAHH +_+ I saw a recent video of his with... robot-ish style? Some of his songs are really into gaming/robots/technology or something, and I don't really like that. It's ok because he has such talent, and he'll find his groove eventually. I'm so happy he's so popular right now.
