Before I call him ignorant, I'll let you guys be the judge:

In response to Jin's blog found here, and all the comments:

Eh, Jin. I don't know what you're trying to imply with this blog. I guess you're trying to say it wasn't funny? I think it was perfectly funny because she did not mean to harm anyone with what she's trying to say, I mean its pretty obvious if people would just stop for one second and imagine her saying that about someone another race than they are.

I am Chinese myself, I was raised in China, and I can honestly tell you one thing; CHINESE PEOPLE ARE THE BIGGEST HYPOCRITES EVER! We call this racism? This was a 10 second clip from a show called "The View." The show airs in the morning on weekdays, tell me how many Asians aren't at work or school at that time!?! When we watched this ten 10 second clip, we are judging her for what she did that 10 seconds without knowing what her personality is from hundreds of episodes?

If you call THAT racism, go to Chinatown, you'll hear "White Ghost" and "Black Ghost" thrown around all the time. To us it means absolutely nothing because we are used to being racist. But to white and black people, its like us calling them crackers and sunshines.

I think we should just be a little bit more open minded and accept this as comedy because you know that at least ONCE in your lifetime, if not many, you cracked a racist joke in front of your friends too...

I saw new comments from Jin, and I thought it was gonna be cool seeing what his opinions were, but here's what he said. (Proof on my myspace @ http://www.myspace.com/rockyz )

thats something I would expect [anonymous] to say, but not JIN! The famous Chinese rapper that even my friends in Hong Kong were talking about? The one that Asians out there practically worshipped because he shows the hip-hop world that Asians could rap?

edit:
heres my response to his comments:
It's more a matter of perspective. I think different people may have a different opinion when they are called a different word. For example you and I both have a different opinion on this "ching-chong" incident.

What makes you sure black and white people aren't offended by what we say? Because they don't know we're saying it?

oh and btw, he still hasn't approved either of my comments? Afraid that someone out there is thinking for themselves? Or even worst, thinking something thats not the same as him? Typical narcissism...
LucasBunny
^Well you can compare calling black and white people sunshines and crackers because they are deragotory terms, whomever says they are not they are retarded.

I don't agree with him saying Rosie wasnt offensive because I think she should have thought b4 she spoke, but I don't think she meant to be mean.

Anyways Jin is a loser.

I'm not sure who replied, if it's really Jin
but if it is he needs to open his mind because those terms are offensive.

I think Jin is just trying to get in on all the attention Rosie gets for being controversial. I guess he can't get it on talent alone. That's all these silly feuds are about, attention.

I'm not saying Jin wasn't offended, he probably was. Though I don't know why everyone is getting so worked up over it- I've seen many people on soompi say things about blacks and whites more offensive than what Rosie did (and she wasn't even TRYING to hurt or offend anyone). I think she was just being ignorant and stupid, but racist? No. I've even heard people compare the brief Rosie clip from the View to what Michael Richards said during his standup routine. HA! Please.

OMG Thank you!

Thank u!

Well I thought it was funny. True, it probably wasn't the most mature way to handle it but Rosie was wrong. You guys are frucking stupid saying she's not racist. That's not the point. The point is she's ignorant and offensive and to top it off her apology was totally insincere.

Although I don't support childish comebacks, I think Rosie deserved to have that song written about her.
elmo.
i dont like the song ph34r.gif

It's wrong on sooooo many levels. I'm not even going to point it out because its so obvious. He's giving Asians a bad name.

blah ph34r.gif

Funny you don't support childish comebacks considering you just called anyone who disagrees with you "frucking stupid".

And no, I don't think she's racist for her comment. You just admitted yourself that that's not even the point.

Make up your mind.
GDlovesBEE
who cares. let jin do what he wanna do. i can't believe donald trump's in it too... but i hate rosie's fat ass any ways.

wtf???

Don't come insulting us that's not even neccesary
I already said it I didnt think it was racist, I thought it was stupid and ignorant of her.

Do you know what racist means??
it means you hold a grudge against another race and you intentionally say things to offend them
people mock white people all the time, we all find Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle funny and they always mock white people, but we don't find it racist do we?
No, we all laugh at it.

it's not like she said "All they do is run around saying "ching chong dong" all she did was "mock the language"
people mock black people all the time saying "Yo yo yo!" stuff like that and it's not racist.

I just thought Rosie was being rather ignorant and she should have thought before she spoke and like you said the point is that she's ignorant and that's what made me mad about the whole thing, her ignorance, but I'm sorry it didnt think it was racist.

I understand that is offensive to asians but she didnt use in the really offensive way.

She's just a fool.

and I don't get how people get mad because she mocked the chinese language and then people laugh at Jin's song
and like VersusVillian says, people always say mean things about black and white people on soompi ten times more offensive than what Rosie did
and no says crap until something is directed towards them.

People come into the black members thread saying the "N" word and it's like no one cared I even reported it and nothing was done.

I've explained the racist things asians do to black people in there videos and it's like no one even notices it,
I mention in the Lee Hyori video, stereotyped black people like no tommorrow, I hated that freakin video with a passion, but alot of korean people adored that video and am I calling them stupid for not finding it racist?? No! Many asians on soompi always feel victimized to little things but don't even see the things they do to offend non asians.

Once again you did not have to call us stupid, cuz no one is exchanging insults so don't be coming up in here popping junk
Tonyc402
i just find this hilarious XD...Never liked Rosie anyways .
