My Fave spanish song would be:
"A Puro Dolor" (Purest of Pain) by Son by Four
^ditto
I saw what you liked so I thought that maybe you´d like these too...
Shakira had some Spanish albums out before the English ones... I really like "ciega, sordomuda" (blind, deaf-mute), "estoy aqui" (here I am), "no", "te aviso, te anuncio" (I warn you, I tell you) and "Te dejo Madrid" (I leave you Madrid).
If you like Juanes, then listen to "volverte a ver" (to see you again), "a Dios le pido" ("I beg to God"... this song is really nice), "Es por ti" (because of you). He also has a duet with Nelly Furtdao.
Mmmm... Coti Sorokin has a song called "Nada de esto fue un error" (none of this was a mistake) and the song got so popular he made two versions, one singin a duet with Andres Calamaro and the second was with two female singers, Julieta Venegas and Paulina Rubio. This song is really awesome.
Alejandro Sanz is like THE singer in Spain... he´s probably the biggest male star in here (along with David Bisbal, but Alejandro has been around for like 15 years and counting)... he has REALLY good songs... let´s see... "No es lo mismo" (it isn´t the same"), "Aprendiz" (a girl named Malu also sung this one, both versions are really good... the title means "amateur" or "apprentice"), "Regalame la silla" (give me the chair as a present... odd title, good song), Corazon Partio (broken heart)... well, anything by him is probably worth listening to.
And since I mentioned him earlier... David Bisbal, he became famous in Operacio Triunfo, which is the Spanish version of American Idol (although it´s been around longer)... he has a song called "Buleria" (a buleria it´s a style of traditional Spanish singing... but the song is upbeat)... he has two songs called "Mienteme" (lie to me) that he sang while on the song on his own, and as a duet with a girl named Elena Gadel, who was a contestant in another edition of the show. He also has "Con el alma en pie" (hard to translate... literally it´s like "the soul is standing"... it means something like cannot live witout you...) that was a duet with Chenoa, and this song is absolutely great. He also has "Camina y ven" (walk and come) which is really good... he´s got a really powerful voice and sings live a lot.
If you want any more recs, just PM me and let me know, I´ll be really glad to help you <3
