Utada Hikaru is one of Japan's most successful artists of all time, and has sold over an estimated 40,000,000 records. She is completely bilingual as she was raised in both New York and Tokyo. Utada Hikaru is also known in the west under her English language project name 'Utada'. Utada also sang the Kingdom Hearts themes, Hikari / Simple and Clean and the theme songs for Kingdom Hearts II, Passion and Sanctuary. Utada's absolutely amazing, I have all her albums except Precious. I'm supposed to burn Ultra Blue album for a friend... haven't bothered yet. Boku wa Kuma was a pretty cute song, I'm gonna play that for my future children's birthday parties someday.

Whenever someone talks about the singer of the Kingdom Hearts theme song and has no idea who it is, I cough out "HIKKI!"

I bought the Single Collection Vol.1 back in September for someone's birthday, I walked past it at the music store, stopped, turned around and went "HOLY MOTHER."

My mission is to face Hikki someday in Tetris

At first when I listened to her Exodus album, I really liked the songs, only problems was, was the lyrics, but I like them now because they show real meaning even though they're weird...who would've thought to name a song "you make me want to be a man"? i love 'Automatic', 'In My Room', 'Passion', 'Deep River', 'Final Distance', 'Eternally', and i could go on forever. i love all of her songs! it amazes me how she can sing so high yet so clear. she definately caught my attention when Kingdom Hearts 1 commerical came on.
