I went to Best Buy in Shreveport to see if they have the cd. I was looking for the U and find the cd. There were only three copies left. I was so happy and it was on sale for $9.99.

and from Hana yori dango is "Flavor of life"

Oooh, interesting. I'm actually quite excited to hear any info on Utada, she's probably the one that's going to lead this whole Asian invasion into America, haha.
Off topic, I personally don't think Wonder Girls have what it takes to crack the American market. They should just stay the hell away from there cause groups are pretty much dead...As much as I like them, they've got no business in America. Should stay in Korea for the time being. BoA I'm hoping does moderately well, maybe not on the Top Charts but at least get her name around in the dance/club scene. As for Se7en, well I don;t follow him as much.

I'm not a fan of Wonder Girls but I do agree with you that they should stay away from America. I can't believe Utada wasn't on the list (I saw Wonder Girls, BoA, and Se7en)
havent listened to her songs for a while, and found out about her new album, This is the One: The song 'This One' is lovely, currently on repeat haha her voice is soothing Go utada!

"Sanctuary" just came out, it's the theme song for kingdom hearts II. I was let down as it was just the english version of her Japanese song "Passion". I was hoping for something new, but what can you do? It's still a good song anyways.

^ Well it wasn't officially released until her 2nd US album 'This Is The One' US version included those 2 songs

She appears to have thrown in the towel on this debut/re-debut. I have heard of no plans to release a new single or MV. I thought she was serious about trying to make it this time. It doesn't appear to be the case. She has talked about basically how disgusted she was with the Exodus album. Perhaps she release this album in a way to get the bad taste of the Exodus album left off her resume.
Oh man it's so frustrating to see my fave artist struggling yet again with her US career >_<..

i don't think shes really the type of singer to promote herself all over the place with appearances and performances. i mean, she never did that many performances in japan either (like on tv and stuff).
honestly, i don't think shes really concerned about results like everyone else seems to be (i mean yes, she has to make a living, but i'm sure she's not pressed for money lol)

It's really inappropriate of Utada to abandon her fans, completely disappear and then do this.
The Sanctuary single is extremely unnecessary, because it's 4 years old, and it will only be released in Japan. It's a shame Utada's been taking advantage of her legend status in Japan to just make money.
She's been in the music industry for all her life so I guess it's understandable that she's losing her drive in some ways, sadly.
Utada's a living legend in Japan so it's okay but it's not acceptable to slack off for a market she's unknown in. And I doubt Utada is all about the music that she doesn't want to "expose" herself. She obviously cared about the performance and visual aspects to compliment her music during the early stages of her career. I think it's obvious she just doesn't care lately. She gave Japan a remix of Beautiful World and a song from 4 years ago. In America, she admitted that Island was bugging her for a album. Although TITO is good compared to other Pop albums, it's not enough for someone like Utada. It was obviously rushed and lacks something. It seems like she just completed everything the Island contract asked for and ran off to Kuma Chang in her tiny little room.

My fave album would have to be Exodus, and that is because it was the first album I ever heard from Utada.

definitely trying for tickets (i'm assuming they're gonna be hard to get since she doesn't tour much). i wonder how much they'll be.
Good to see her doing something again. I am still disappointed she and her company didn't try to put forth more of an effort in the US. I guess after seeing the record sales for her album it just wasn't worth it.
