i guess i also miss their really fun spirited songs, but i thought crazy moon was upbeat enough to enjoy. i'd also really love something like happiness or sakura sake again.

I totally agree with what you said!
Besides, it's not as if they were always happy rainbow sparkly to begin with, they had some rock-ish hiphop singles in their earlier days and have always had darker songs in their albums as well (Right Back to You, Cry for You etc.).
Recently I came across someone saying how she stopped listening to them because she thought that Arashi songs are getting more and more childish as the years go by 'even though they are not getting any younger' and I really wanted to laugh because us fans are complaining about the exact opposite! HMM...

The single covers are just ok for me, I like the other cover that was floating around better. These covers sort of remind me of the Happiness and Kitto Daijoubu covers, they're very springy & summery which I guess suit the songs and I do like the LE cover with Arashi on the beach...

VS Arashi #61 was hilarious. The rivalry between Jun and the guy from Banana Man is funny. Sho was calling Leader cute in the beginning even though he's 29. Leader is the best at Pinball Runner. Sho was so adorable when the boys were making fun of him for being all serious and in Zero mode. Aiba was great in Falling Pipe! If you watch Nino in the background, you can see him twirling around and playing with his zipper, lol.
I forgot to mention that Ikuta Toma is going to be on VS Arashi soon! TEAM MAOU BACK TOGETHER AGAIN. ^^ <3

OMG OMG thank you for this news. I can't believe Arashi announced a best album AND a tour at the same time~ I've been waiting for this news forever.
I don't have any of Arashi earlier releases so I'm so going to get this album. I would die happy if I can attend one of Arashi's concert for their 10th anniversary. I hope I can get one of the 760,000 tickets....And I'm so happy that Arashi will be performing at Kokuritsu again this year. Since they performed there last year, I didn't think Arashi were allowed to perform at Kokuritsu again this year, but to be able to hold the concert for 3 days in a row is freakin' AWESOME. Kokuritsu is my favorite Arashi's concert stage so far~ I think I watched the AAA 2008 DVD more than 10x already. This year is such an amazing year for Arashi, I really hope that their best album will sell well.
OMG!! Sakurai Sho got a hair cut?! I'm so HAPPY! That haircut was one of the sole reasons I wanted the AAA Tokyo DVD 2008 in the first place. He is just looking mighty fine. And I'm super stoked about all this news on Arashi. This year is DEFINITELY their year and I'm definitely going to purchase their BEST OF album. Now, only if I could attend their concert. It would've been the cherry on top of all concerts since it's their 10th anniversary. And I still can't believe little Nino is 12 26 now. They are aging so well.
i seriously will find a way to get this BEST album i can't wait! let's hope it can be a million seller.

Awwww no 'Fight Song' or 'Right Back to You'? I love those songs, I was hoping they be included in the CD, but Arashi have too many good songs, I guess they can't include everything. Since the Limited Edition is already out of stock at cdjapan, I hope I can still get it at HMV. And I'm liking the Everything PV, can't wait to see the full version.
I'm praying that Arashi can sell over 1 million with this best album, but Johnny's artists just never sell well albums wise (they tend to sell more singles than albums- which is totally backward from most of the other Japanese artists). But since this is Arashi's best album and the CD itself is a really good value, 30+ Singles for the price of 1 album is a really good deal IMO. So I don't know, it's kind of hard to predict how much it will sell but I'm pretty sure it will sell over half-million copies. It would be beyond awesome if Arashi's can get #1 on the Album chart though~ that would be a PERFECT 10th Anniversary for Arashi. I think Mr.Children is currently #1 with over 1.2 million copies sold, so it'll be a very hard feat.

But since this is Arashi's best album and the CD itself is a really good value, 30+ Singles for the price of 1 album is a really good deal IMO. So I don't know, it's kind of hard to predict how much it will sell but I'm pretty sure it will sell over half-million copies. It would be beyond awesome if Arashi's can get #1 on the Album chart though~ that would be a PERFECT 10th Anniversary for Arashi. I think Mr.Children is currently #1 with over 1.2 million copies sold, so it'll be a very hard feat.

Kokuritsu was pretty amazing. I got my DVD yesterday, so I was watching it again last night. Looking back on all their concerts, it just shows how much their fanbase has grown and how popular they've gotten. They've worked so hard.

Arashi has announced the release of a new best album titled "All the BEST! 1999-2009." As the title indicates, the collection will cover their entire ten-year career, and will consist of the title tracks from all of their singles to date.
The tracklist begins with their 1999 debut "A-RA-SHI" and includes 31 songs (26 singles plus their double A-sides), plus an additional track written by Arashi to thank their fans. According to the listing on CDJapan, the two-disc album does not contain Satoshi Ohno's solo song "Kumori Nochi, Kaisei." In addition, it is reported that the first press edition of the album will come with a bonus CD containing 10 more songs selected by the members of Arashi.
Arashi has also scheduled an upcoming tour, which will include three consecutive shows at the National Stadium on August 28-30. Last year, Arashi became just the third artist to do a solo concert there (after SMAP and Dreams Come True). Now, they will be the first ever to play at the stadium for three straight days.
The tour, which finishes on January 17, 2010, will also include the five major domes in Japan. The group expects a total attendance of roughly 760,000 fans over the course of the tour.

I think this video is perfect for the song. 0:39 - 0:43 is my favorite part of the song. Nino's part at 1:41 makes me happy. ^^ The part at 2:48ish where Jun and Ohno sing is awesome. My favorite part of the video is the ending shot where Jun is walking on the wall. Ohno turns around and looks at Aiba. Aiba turns to Sho. Nino turns around and laughs. Aiba looks up at Jun. It's just perfect. I am so in love with the coloring and lighting of this video. The recording booth shots were so pretty. *-*

I'm loving the Everything PV too. When I first watched the preview, I thought the PV might be a bit boring, but I love how it turned out. I love the sunset theme and the simpleness of it in this PV, the colors are also very beautiful. My favorite parts of the PV are when Arashi were walking along the street with the sunset in the background~ it's just so beautiful.

The set was rather simple. It looks like a painting. I adore Aiba's hairstyle in this performance. I couldn't take my eyes off of him. The blue that he was wearing suited him nicely. I love the Everything PV too. It was simple, yet very beautiful. And the lyrics are love...The Juntoshi duet was awesome! Their (Ohno and Jun) voices just blend well together. MatsuJun walking in the middle of the deserted street with the sunset was very sexy. I also love the studio top shot, the mics' setup was nice. But I must agree, Sho's outfit is a bit baggy. I like him better in tight pants.
