Everything PV was beautiful. I just loved it. Is it just me or does anyone else prefer Jun to have dark skin? I find him so much more good looking with dark skin for some reason. And that specific hairstyle.

Everything is #1 on the Oricon Daily chart with sales of 135,053

Ashi.ta no Kioku/Crazy Moon~Kimi wa Muteki is #1 on the Oricon Monthly chart with sales of 587,734

What happened here? The sales for Everything is a lot lower than I expected, considering the first day sales for Arashi's previous 2 singles were so high and the Ninki's numbers for Everthing was off the chart. I was worried about the sales for this single since it's not a double A-side single and it's not as strong of a single as the last twos, plus the Regular Edition (the only edition left I think) doesn't have any bonus materials or sticker so I guess there's less of an incentive for people to buy. But Everything and Season are really good songs, I hope the sales will pick up tomorrow and the rest of the week. But I'm happy that Ashi.ta no Kioku/Crazy Moon~Kimi wa Muteki will break 600k soon.

From Music Station blog. MS staff had a meeting with Arashi and said that "Arashi really are close/get along with each other well". I love how they're so close with each other not only in front of TV but off camera as well and it's cool how everyone always say this about Arashi. I've never seen any group that are as close with each other as Arashi.

I think the album and the upcoming tour have something to do with it. Fans are busy trying to get a hold of tickets and are on a search for the limited editions of the album since they are selling like hotcakes. The priority seems to be to be on these instead of the single. Arashi is going to be breaking records at Kokuritsu though. The sales for "Everything" are decent considering all the other stuff that Arashi has going on.

The drop in sales was not as bad as I thought it would be so I'm relieved.

I was able to catch Himitsu no Arashi chan today and it was SO FUNNY. The Mote Arashi Dame Arashi (Popular Arashi Worst Arashi) segment was hysterical and the person who was voted to be Dame was plunged into cold water (with ice) and they said it was the first time this has ever happened to a Johnny's . I'm not going to ruin it for you guys but I thought it was hilarious how "a certain member" keeps trying to sabotage the other members so that he wouldn't be voted as Dame LOL. I'm liking how Himitsu no Arashi chan is turning out now, I hope they keep doing more funny segments like this.

Aiba-chan new CM is so cute and so full of energy. I love it~ I'm seriously going to start buying Vermont brand curry from now on. I always buy other brands curry, but that's going to change now that I know Aiba-chan does CMs for Vermont.

I thought the last Arashi no Shukudai-kun was funny as well. I think one of the charms of Arashi is that they can make anything funny and interesting, just put the 5 of them together and you'll have a good show.

And I seriously want to send Oh-chan a box of sunscreen spay cans so that he can spray himself when going fishing. I don't think he even uses sunscreen because if he did, he wouldn't be peeling and getting burned like he kept mentioning. Oh-chan needs to take better care of himself, skin cancer is serious business.

I absolutely love this performance, this is my favorite performance of Everything thus far. Arashi did amazing here. Sho kun's hair cut is so dramatic that even Tamori san took notice I think Tamori san said something like Sho kun's hair doesn't suit today's style or something like that LOL. It was hilarious that on Nino's birthday, after he finished with works, Nino said to Aiba chan that he's doesn't have anything to do afterward so Aiba chan felt sorry for him and gathered the members to go eat yakiniku to celebrate Nino's birthday , lol only Nino will say something like that and Aiba chan really loves Nino a lot I think . Arashi ranked 9th for Ashi.ta no Kioku/Crazy Moon~ Kimi wa Muteki and 1st for Everything on Music Station Ranking. Congrats to Arashi!!!

jun looked the best (as always ) in the MS performance. but he's gotten kinda skinny, i think. plus, he looks really tall, and isn't aiba the tallest of the group? but anyway, overall it was a great performance, and i love the part when they all sing the "hashire! hashire!" lines. they all look so happy (especially jun and his hand movements :lol)

Poor darling. He ran out of there so quick. He was such a good sport about it. I think he mentioned that he was wearing his own personal clothes? It was such a cute outfit. I liked the second segment since no one gets punished, and it showed their acting abilities. Aiba looked so hot in that suit with the gun straps. *-* I really hope someone spots Aiba's talent and offers him a drama or something. It was sad when they all got nicknames like "Galaxy", "Maou", "Quiz Show", "Smile", and Aiba got "Zoo".

Aiba and Jun were really cute during the Mini Station talk. Jun kept messing with Aiba who was swatting his hands away, lol. Aiba looked gorgeous. I really loved his outfit. Really adorable! Jun always looks so happy during his part with Ohno, lol. The talk part was sweet. Aiba is sweet for wanting to do something for Nino's birthday since Nino had no plans. I think Aiba is the person that holds Arashi together the most. He has so much love for them. Leader being traumatized by his own bandmates makes me laugh.


Sho's recent Shounen Club Premium episode has been subbed here. Sho doesn't try to look intelligent. He IS intelligent. I really loved his episode. He seemed eager to ask Taichi for advice and stuff. He always seems to want to learn. He's very mature and he chooses his words carefully as expected from our newscaster. He knew that he wanted to continue his education from a young age. Really admirable of him.

Ohno Satoshi - Miss (August 2009) I love when he talks about how he can't ignore fans that have fans that say "Give me a peace sign~" and how he makes sure they know that he is looking at them. That's why I love watching Ohno during concerts. He really does give the fans all the attention he can.

Arashi finally performed Season I love this song so much. And I'm so happy they performed Step and Go~ this is my all time favorite Arashi song.

I LOVE MUSIC LOVERS!! Those fans are so lucky, it's only on shows like these they get to be so close to Arashi. They hardly perform at small venues anymore so they probably look tiny to fans at the Domes and at Kokuritsu....

The reasons for Tohoshinki unusual high 1st day sales and the high jump in sales over the weekend:

Everything sold around the same as Beautiful Days and One Love, so it's steady sales for Arashi. But since Arashi have gotten so much more popular recently, I was hoping that Everything could pass 400k in the first week and beat the sales of 1 A-side singles like BD and OL. Let's hope this single will continue to sell strong and have a long charting life. I still think there's a possibility for Arashi to go 1-2-3 on the yearly single chart.

Was hoping Everything could hit 400k too but guess the normal edition of this single has very little appeal to fans who already bought the limited edition! I'm actually very surprised J-Storm released the single this way, without anything extra in the normal edition. Even the covers are so similar! I always only buy the limited edition, though I know of fans who used to buy multiple editions but who only bought one this time (although it's nothing to be proud of if they sell more just because fans buy multiple copies, but it's not just the Johnnys groups who sell this way anymore so what the heck...) Just to save up for the Best Album and concert tour.

Happy that it hit nearly 330k though. Higher than One Love's first-week sales!


And speaking of concert tour, anyone going/intending to go? The ticket battle is very worrying though

I really wanted to go to Arashi's 3 Days concert in Kokuritsu, but due to other obligations I can't make it on those days. After watching AAA 2008, all I want to do is experience the Kokuritsu stage, I've never seen anything so amazing before . But anyways, I'm going to try to get ticket to one of their Dome concerts either in Fukuoka or Osaka. I seriously think the 760,000 concert tickets are NOT ENOUGH and I think it's going to be a bloody war just to get these tickets. On top of that, people are going to want to charge you an arm, a leg, and any other valuable body parts for them . I'm planning on buying the ticket from either http://www.ticket.co.jp/ or from the scalpers in front of the venue~ not sure which will be cheaper though. I just hope everything will go smoothly so that I can get 1 Arashi's concert ticket, 1 ticket is all I need.

I was looking at tickets for Nino's butai and it's going for $500 - $1600 US a piece. I'm assuming the $500 tickets are the bad seats

So I'm prepared to pay the most ridiculous amount they're charging because it's worth it to be able to attend an Arashi's concert, especially when it's on Arashi's 10th Anniversary.

Lol Oh-chan is so cute here. He went to Okinawa and caught over 100 fishes, the ship captain told him to quit being a singer and become a fisherman Arashi then had a Falling Pipe Challenge with Downtown and the deal was that if Downtown lose, they would have to go on VS Arashi. It was a good Hey!x3 appearance, but Arashi's talk segment was cut too short I thought.

The top 2 highest first week selling singles also go to Arashi, with Ashi.ta no Kioku/Crazy Moon~Kimi wa Muteki selling 502,487 copies and Believe/Kumorinochi Kaisei selling 501,988 in the first week. Everything is #5 on the Oricon Daily Chart today~ not bad. But it's cool that Arashi is #1 on the Weekly, Monthly and Yearly chart

I finally had time to finish The Quiz Show yesterday and the drama is so good, the story that unfold was really interesting and there were so many twists and turns. And I love how the last episode turned out. I though Sho-kun's acting was really outstanding. I also love Yoko and Matsuura Aya in the drama as well. Now, I need to go and finish Smile. Still waiting for our Aiba-chan to star in a drama, I really hope he gets one this year.

Nino's butai tickets on the auction sites are going for INSANE prices Tokyo Globe's such a small theater (seats only 700+) so no matter where one is seated they still get a very good view of the stage, right? Lucky fans who won the ballot, it's like they struck lottery! To see any member up close these days is probably an opportunity the fans don't want to miss since all their concerts are held in Dome-sized venues now.


10th Anniversary con...I am itching to go! But I went for the Seoul and Taipei cons last year and don't think I'll be able to afford another trip this year. Not to mention the problem of getting tickets...

That's a very well written article. This article really does show how humble Arashi are. I once heard Oh-chan saying something like this before as well. It seems like Arashi are mentally prepared for the day when they won't be as popular nor sell as well as they are now. I'm happy that Arashi are finally at their peak, I just hope that their popularity won't go away anytime soon, but sooner or later it'll bound to happen. The only thing we can do is to support Arashi as much as we can.

Nino talked about how before joining Johnny's, he wasn't interested in becoming an idol and the only reason he went to the audition was because his mom gave him 5000 yen to go LOL. Nino was planning to quit Johnny's in early 1999, but ended up debuting as Arashi later that year. Now he's glad he's a part of Arashi because he now has 4 great friends.

This episode was so funny, especially Aiba-chan and Sho-kun. I couldn't stop laughing . Seems like there will be a special Vs Arashi next week at 7pm against Hexagon Family. I love the Nikkei Trendy article and how it pointed out that Aiba was the only member who appears on a weekly variety show on his own. For the last 5 years as well! That's an enormous amount of TV exposure for him (since TSD has viewership ratings that are higher than all 3 of Arashi's shows) and there are actually many Japanese fans who first became Aiba fans through TSD, then became fans of Arashi. All 5 of them have truly pulled in fans for the group in their own ways it's amazing. That's what's so awesome about them. AND on the first day of the stage play, the other 4 members were together during a planning session for their concert tour. Ohno-kun suddenly said ''It's starting!'', referring to the play starting!

I totally agree with this. I love how Arashi is such a balanced group and I love how they're all equally popular among the fans instead of just 1 or 2 members getting all the attention.

OMG, Aiba-chan is amazing. He could pass for a real gymnast . Apparently, he only had 2 days to prepare for the routine. And I'm glad to see him branch out with these kinds of works.

Oh-chan was really cute and funny in this episode. I love the Arashi's leader vs Robert's leader battle in the beginning.

The CanCam's interview was really cute. I love how Arashi are when they're together.


This song always bring tears to my eyes. The lyrics are lovely. I hope Arashi's new song will be just as great as Sketch.

Sketch is beautiful. It's like telling the history of Arashi. Love that line you bolded. I also love that they included a part of Aiba's letter from 24 Hour TV in it. I showed that video to my friend and now she loves Aiba.

The CM is so cute I love the whole matsuri scenery, it really feels like summer and Nino is just beyond adorable. From the fan's account, it seems like Nino did a really good job in the butai. I was actually really interested in the Strangers on a Train's storyline so I youtubed the American movie version- I gotta say, the storyline (and the movie) was really really good. But it seems like there are quite a few differences between the butai and the movie. I really hope they will release a DVD for this butai, I want to see it so bad.

VS Arashi #66 was really cute. BBQ Arashi! Someone should give Arashi a show where they just hang out with each other, lol. I would totally watch it. Jun was so considerate, cooking and serving everyone. ^^

I can't wait to watch the competition against Hexagon Family! Nino had his stageplay hairstyle! He looked so handsome! ^^
