Only a little more until Arashi breaks the half-million mark~ looks like they're going to do it by tomorrow.

It's an exciting time to be Arashi's fan right now . I didn't get a chance to watch their Hey!x3 performance yet, but looking forward to it.

This is excellent sales coming at a time when the Japanese music industry has been experiencing severe decline in sales
..the last time any single by any artiste broke 500,000 in its first week was when KAT-TUN released 'Real Face' 3 years ago.

And for Arashi themselves, the last time their single sold more than 500,000 in its first week was their debut single [A.RA.SHI] in November 1999. yup it's been that long!

Oh how fun was Utaban? I felt so sorry for Ohno though, they just always end up picking on him in the end. Sho looked malnourished for some reason and Aiba was awfully quiet during that episode. But nonetheless, it was still a really funny episode. I think my love for Arashi has come to the point where I get irritated when I don't get my daily fix of them. It's very unhealthy I must say. Congrats to the boys for Believe! I can't believe the sales for it! That's truly amazing! It is such a great song and I just have to say that everyone looked so good in that PV. Everyone just looked HOT. And Nino's and Jun's current hair is fantastic.

Believe is 5th today on the Oricon. It's the only single not released this week to be in the top 10. And Sho-kun's Yatterman opened at #1 over the weekend and raked in 400 million yen. Seriously, Arashi are amazing! Not only are they on top of the music chart but they're at the top of the box office as well.

Fans have reported seeing the drama being introduced in TV magazines but it's odd that no offical news has been released yet
I'm sure we shall find out for sure very soon.

The question is, will Arashi be singing the theme songs for these two dramas?

Oricon-rankings wise, they have been claiming 5th spot every day this week so far. Very steady there, Arashi =)

I agree, it's time for Aiba to star in his first drama or movie. It kind of feel like Aiba is the forgotten child in Arashi . I really hope that Aiba gets something soon because I think he might feel kind of left out seeing how the rest of the members are having a lot of success with their dramas/movies~ and butai doesn't really count.

Do you guys think Believe can sell 700k this year? What's the sales for Truth as of now btw?

ya i just reailse i rarely see Aiba acting...i think among the boys Jun has the most drama acted in...hmm yea some producer or director shld let Aiba shine too....hopefully this year he'll be able to appear on the small creen again in a new drama...

Aiba usually appears in plays /butai more often. And he does have his own variety show (Tensai) It's mostly the other boys have higher profile work I think.

It's not hard at all. You just go here and read/follow the instructions. It may be a while till they get back to you depending on how busy they are but it's pretty easy.

(DL) VS Arashi #46 (English Subbed). Nino seems a bit under the weather in this episode.

Has anyone watched episode one of Mayonaka no Arashi? I am looking forward to the other episodes being subbed. This show is really interesting. It shows the members as youngsters traveling around on an adventure and encountering different people and situations. Sho's episode was really entertaining. A shirtless Sho is always a plus too. (;

In some ways maybe Aiba seems like a 'forgotten' child, but only if we look at who has been in a drama in recent years. I don't necessarily think that all 5 of them have to keep on acting in dramas on TV, it's nice that they each have their own niche areas and more so than dramas, I prefer Aiba to go the variety-show direction and appear in more on his own besides Tensai Shimura Dobutsuen that he's on weekly now, it's his own wish too. But a drama will be excellent! I will never say no to an Aiba-drama!! =P

I like how Arashi is well-balanced, like nobody is significantly more or less popular than the others, at least this is quite the case in Japan. Maybe overseas Jun's more popular because of Hanadan? Not sure...doesn't matter, they are all loved :D


Not sure how much Believe will sell this year, but here are the sales for Truth as of now :) : 646,435
It sold another 1323 copies last week, I guess new fans bought Truth at the same time they bought Believe! Beautiful Days and One Love also each sold >1000 copies last week too.

They really need a new format for Himitsu no Arashi-chan. It's getting really boring to watch. I skipped most of #44 and just watched the title call bits. I felt so sad for Aiba in the beginning when they were going through the boys dramas and they skipped over Aiba to go to Ohno. I wanted to hug him. T-T <3

Himitsu mostly is featuring YT clips and video. I liked it better when Arashi is involved like the childminder series and such. Even the Ageha feature is okay and I hated that part. Really the only moment that I liked lately was when Arashi did the beat box.

hehe 'yellow tears'...jun's apperance was so little...T-T... i thin among all their movies i like Pikanchi series the best...lolx...

himitsu is getting really boring now..those clips already used more than 1000
times in many tv programs..himitsu is not SECRET anymore because all over the world

that's why getting boring. and they don't have much advertisers unlike shukudai kun and vs arashi (i'm counting

I'm going to have to agree with a lot of you about their shows getting boring now. Seriously, I want them to bring back the premise of the D no Arashi and G no Arashi series. They were just made of win and pure gold. Himitsu IS really getting boring, which is why not many people are subbing it. VSA needs to shake things up a bit. I suppose the only thing that's still quite enjoyable is AnS. BTW, did anyone see 125? Them having no money made quite an enjoyable episode even though the first half was sooo low tension. The bullying at the end was <3333.
