i think ningayo is -인가요? anyway, for *smilez*, that's just a different way to ask a question. it means the same thing, but it's just nuanced a little differently. a little closer, maybe.

i'd write 요시. no real reason except if you said 요씨씨, it just seems weird.

이에요 & 인가요 both come from ~이다. sorry, i assumed you had some familiarity with the language.

이다 = to be. in the example, i gave it is: are you smilez?

you could just as easily write is it a bicycle? are they cheerleaders? or whatever and use that same ending. hopefully, that clears it up a little.

Some of those are meant for me and others are meant for my friend, she's writing a letter to her boyfriend's parents, so please give me a way that sounds like genuine kindness and formality (for all the expressions). They're all suppose to be in a happy manner. And can it please be translated into the romanized way as well as written in Hangul? Romanized phrases give me a grasp of what the phrase should be, but reading it in Hangul gives me the exact pronounciation so I like to have both - I'm sorry if I'm asking for too much..

나는 빵이 좋아 - I like bread/As for me, I like bread. (alternative way of saying 나는 빵을 좋아해.)
미라는 눈이 예쁘다 - As for Mira, her eyes are pretty.
당근은 토끼가 먹는다 - As for carrots, rabbits eat them.


어부바 - piggyback ride / ride on one's back

내 is the contraction of 나의, so they're interchangeable.

결혼 정보 회사 literally means "marriage information company". They have members (prospective wives and husbands) who subscribe. The company matches people based on interest, occupation, whatever, then set these people up. Yeaaaaaah.

That's pronounced 'chae' right? people have been telling me it's pronounced 'chwe' and I've tried pronouncing it both ways and the pronunciation sounds extremely similar. My non-korean friend even pronounced it 'choi' like how it's spelled in english and I was like..no.-__-
