You could just omit the name entirely and say just 생일 축하해 (if it's a good friend, for example) or 생일 축하해요. I dunno, I would say the person's name first.

"어, 주연아~ 생일 축하해!"

it's just different ways of romanizing. the new system uses g for ㄱ all the time. the old system used k when the ㄱ is in the initial position because it has a slightly harder sound. even though it's confusing and based on the old romanization system, people would think it's weird if all the kims suddenly switched to gim.

i am [saying] "i am discovery and hello?"

as you can see, this makes no sense.

it's saying 'i am discovering (something) and saying hello'
~하고 can be used for both 'discover' and 'say'
that's why a lot of people aren't getting it the first time^^

sneaky I did the translations but let me tell you, they are very bad translations. I think two or them I totally didn't know how to translate (I put * before them). Translating song titles are such hassle especially since some translations always seem so off of what it really means. Anyway, I hope this is fine but you could always ask someone else and double check ^^;

예쁘세요 - depends on if it's asked or stated. it's either you are pretty or are you pretty?

~ if it's used in the middle of a word, it's used to indicate that it's being lengthened like. hhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiii..... if it's used at the end, it's like the dots.

감사합니다 - thank you. the 당 is used to make it sound cuter.
