it literally means sth along the lines of 'give me', but can be used as 'please', depending.....like 'umak juseyo' would be 'music please.'

뻥튀기 - It's like... popped/puffed rice or corn. They can be small and round... or big ones that are flat and round like below:

Han Zi is 漢字 in Mandarin... so I thought you'd know. lol

黃芳玲 <- these are the right characters, right?

황방령 - Hwang Bang Ryeong/Ryoung

Yeah... it doesn't really sound as nice in Korean. Koreans usually try to avoid "Bang" in girls' names. lol

Someone here on Soompi has Fang Fang as her Chinese name, and she asked me what her Korean name was. She was so upset that it was Bang Bang. lol

so i'm watching Goong and i hear YEH throwing around '졸라' like it's nothing... i thought this was really offensive... has times changed or am i mistaking it for another offensive word? would this be in the same ranks as '쪽팔려'? worse or not as bad?

Maybe something like......... 당신은 미치다. tang-ssineun mi-chida.
o.o.......
cpopbaby19
^isn't that too formal? o-o; 당신 i think is used for formal stuff. i guess she can say that casually cuz she's like telling 'you're insane' to her brother. lol.

maybe you can change 당신 to 너. like 너는 미쳤다 (neoneun michyeottda). If that makes sense.

o__o;

.minjoo
^ But then again... Koreans just usually say.. "Michuhsuh." (미쳤어.)

I guess...
dr who
haha. just for fun, you could also say 돌았다 or 맛이 갔다. haha.. those also are similar to 미쳤다 without really being any more or less worse.

btw, for the original poster, don't use that term loosely. unless it's said jokingly with a close friend, it's really, really offensive.
