depends on the speech level for goodbye and whether you're the one staying or you're the one going.

well, technicalities aside, the korean language is very implicit. you dont have to include 'i' and 'you' when speaking in korean in many cases. simply saying 지금 전화 할께 can mean 'i will call you now.'

as a frame of reference, when saying 'i love you' you simply say 사랑해 as opposed to 난(i) 너를(you) 사랑해(to love).

this might sound weird, but how would you write & pronounce the phrase "his long fingers" or "his long graceful fingers"? and is it particularly profound to say something like that? or does it sound pretty or something?

i read that phrase in a (translated) manhwa, and the narrator went on to say how 'tender' or 'pretty' it sounded, so, just curious. lol. =) thanks!

i kinda get it now, but can't really explain..
for 하다, it's just natural to say it like that
걷다 probably is an irregular... 걷으세요 means "draw it back", 거세요 means "make a phone call" so there's no choice but to put the "ㄹ"
받다, 춥다, 걷다 have something at the bottom so i guess an extra syllable "으/우/르" are needed
괜찮다 has a sound carrying over for the 으. it would be hard to say "괜찮세요" unnatural..
그렇다 is pronounced geu-rut-ta so "그렇세요" would be geu-rut-sae-yo and be awkward as well.. so it's dropped i guess...

i think they're just irregulars that you have to learn, just like english and spanish may have weird irregulars you must memorize or get used to over time

yes, i know it should be "넌 내 발렌타인이야?" but you know sometimes korean cut off parts of the sentence? i'm not sure, but I heard EunHyuk from suju saying
"난 은혁" before. You can do that right??

a couple of things: your example above has a couple small mistakes, it should be:
오다 / 오십니다 / 오셨습니다 / 오실겁니다

계시다 is already the formal form for 있다. it's: 게시다. 계십니다. 계셨습니다. 계실겁니다.
이다 is a "be" verb, so it doesn't go through that other conjugation. 이다. 였다. at least i don't use it in that way.... hmm.. now i'm confused.
받다 is 받다. 받으시다. 받으셨습니다. 받으실겁니다.
늦다 is like the first example. it's not different.
덥다 is: 덥다. 더우시다. 더우셨습니다. 더우실겁니다.
괜찮다 is the same as the 받다 example. include the 으
좋아하다 is the same as the 오다 example.
