this is a CULTURAL as well as language question... and you need to read the story that goes with it..
so basically i was an idiot this morning..
and since the kid that i tutor didnt show up, i was just sitting in this teacher's classroom talking to my friend...
then this (asian, i would guess korean) girl came in and she was studying...and i noticed that it matched mine.. so i pointed it out to my friend (i was excited.. cause i'm an idiot) and she laughed at me.. when i tried to tell that girl why, she didnt seem to understand... and she kept looking at my friend (who's chinese.. i'm white by the way) and me..
so i felt really bad.. i tend to hang out with the korean kids so i have an understanding of some of the stuff they go through when they come.... and since i assume she's new, i probably made her feel even more uncomfortable in this weird place...
so i really want to apologize to her.. but i'm kind of shy to, since i'm not sure what the korean custom would be about this..
i can speak some korean (i have a tutor), but i'm not that good..
i need a strategy plus advice of what to say? please/// TToTT
thank you~
