Other TV, Movies & Books Forum Rules

1. All general forum rules apply.
Please read the rules carefully. You will be warned if you are found in violation of any of these rules.

2. Before creating a new thread, check the pinned TV Show Index and Movie Index to make sure the topic doesn't already exist.
Only one thread per show or movie will be active. Be sure to check! Some shows and movies may be under different names. In addition, please post the link in the index so it can added to the database. This is in place of the search function. Please do not create threads that are years away from airing or screening -- this helps curb spamming in the threads.

If you're going to start a thread, be sure you can provide sufficient information about the show or movie and you can make updates to the first post (this applies specifically for dramas). Please post new links in the pinned thread indexes so we can organize the information.

General info include:
-Air times and dates
-Cast list and photos
-A brief synopsis

3. All download-related links belong in the download thread.
Make requests for a download link (clubbox, sendspace, megaupload, etc.) in the appropriate thread. Do NOT create new threads solely for requests.

4. Do not bypass the swear filter.
Using *, ! or other symbols in place of a letter is unacceptable.

5. Do not bash actors, actresses, or other members, or post untrue information.
Bashing will not be tolerated by any means and will result in a warning. This includes but is not limited to the usage of derogatory remarks, swearing, etc.

6. Do not quote pictures.
Instead, remove the [IMG] tags around the link. Quotes do not count towards the 20-character limit rule. If you're going to quote a picture or post, say something about it. Threads that are meant solely for pictures belong in the other celeb photos forum.

7. Use the spoiler tag or highlight the text.
Don't ruin a show or movie for others! Shows will air earlier in some countries than others.

8. Do not engage in non-related conversations.
If you are not going to engage in a discussion about a show or movie, use the PM system or other means of communication.

9. Translate or provide romanizations for foreign-language related material.
Please remember that Soompi is an English-language forum with an international audience. Provide translations or romanizations if possible.
