I actually just bought Paolo Nutini's cd yesterday! haha. Yeah, I discovered him when I was in Asia and brought his CD back to the US with me haha. He does shows in all different countries in Europe~ haha.

I think he said he's coming on tour in the US after his tour in Europe ends.... so in April??

paolo nutini is great because his songs are different, whereas james is be more radio-friendly.
i bought paolo's cd right after i heard 'still crazy'. and his cd didnt disappoint. these streets is especially great for driving (actually, i dont drive.)

anyway james is good, too.

there's something very real and relate-able about his music.
i like how he doesn't try to be overly poetic, but he's still eloquent at the same time.

man, i love that "You Give Me Something" song. His video to that is so weird though, it's so random, but nice eye-candy if you're a guy. lol

This guy is awesome. All the songs on his album are great. Very talented guy that I'm completely obsessed over at the moment.

He is comparable more to John Mayer, I think, at least his style is.
It's kind of that Acoustic pop sound.
His voice is very low, raspy, and soulful...
Paolo Nutini's voice is higher and his lyrics aren't as good (imo)

Yeah, I wasn't really into Nutini so I had my doubts about Morrison.

But after listening to his CD, I wouldn't necessarily say he and Nutini have the same sound.

IMO, Nutini is closer to Gavin DeGraw (his voice)... and I can't really place Morrison. He's not really a John Mayer to me because Mayer has a more... "refined," more pop sound.

Morrison's husky voice is wonderful. The Pieces Don't Fit Anymore is lovely. I haven't heard anything like that in awhile.

"This Boy", "Wonderful world", "How Come" and "The Letter" are my favourites off his album!

I had tickets to his upcoming show here in Seattle, and I just heard yesterday that the concert was canceled.

You have NO IDEA how bummed I was. I really wanted to see him live and I would have just died if I got to see him perform The Pieces Don't Fit Anymore.

I am absolutely in loveeeeeeeee with this man. His entire album is just so good. Few artists manage to do that, in my experience. Undiscovered is an amazing album. It is great from beginning to end. I definitely recommend it. He has such a soulful voice. =)
