I think you saved it to a wrong file extension^^
And when you download, make sure you select "save file" and not "open with" when the download box pops up and select the appropriate file extension if it isn't mp3/wma by default already (the safest thing to do is always add .mp3 to the end of the filename when you save) =]

Okay wait...you are talking about sheet music now right? (because last time I thought you were talking about instrumentals..ah...I'm not sure anymore ><)
First of all, if you're having trouble opening .pdf files, you need to install Adobe Reader. After that, you should have no problems reading the files (I assume you got those errors because you tired to open them in MS Word?)
Secondly, if you're having trouble with the zip files, make sure you have programs like WinZip or WinRar to open them properly.

Let me know if you're having any more problems^^
