i really like the lyrics of some of the songs, like ya salam, they are sooo amazing.
most songs even tho they suck totally, the lyrics are usually pretty nice, even tho they are "cliche" or cheesy, its pretty interesting translating them.

Nawal Al Zoghbi rofl.. I remember over the summer when she came out with that vid for Yama Alou.. I was going down the highway in Egypt and talking about how the billboards were going to turn into her video hahaha.. one of the billboards had an ad for that too.. it was hilarious!

My favorites are Shereen and Tamer Hosny. Ana bahebbbbbbb Tamer Hosny omg awiiii! Lazem Ayesh by Shereen is my favorite. And all of Tamer Hosnys songs are awesomeness.

Haifa had a concert while I was in Egypt on the beach but I missed it. I think she is good but she could stop using her sex appeal to such extremes.. omg. Like the wawa video was so , totally scandalous.

I really don't like Ruby, everyone was making fun of that one video she made where she was exercising, I remember listening a TV show in Cairo and they were making spoofs of it haha..

I really like Elissa too. Nancy as well. I'm suprised no one has mentioned Amr Diab. I don't think like him, I think his voice is just OK and the only reason he is so popular is because he picks songs with really good words.
