Well I searched the first 15 pages of this section and it seems no one has made a thread on it.

Well I've only heard of the Teriyaki Boyz from their song "Tokyo Drift" from The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. They have a song called "I Still Love H.E.R" ([H]ontou [E](ii) [R]ap which basically means "really good rap" = I still love really good rap) which I believe was released late January 2007 and also released a video for it. The song's pretty catchy and is nicely mixed with Japanese and English rap from the Boyz and obviously Kanye West.

I really like the song and I think the video is amusing and cute, even though Kanye doesn't even bother to rap/lip sync 90% of his part. Haha

I always wondered if this was a play on Common's song "I used to love H.E.R."

with "I Still Love H.E.R."

This song's terrific. However, I really dislike the PV because it's basically just the Teriyaki Boyz and Kanye West running around like morons on a YouTube knockoff site. Pretty plain and boring.

I like Terayaki Boyz, but they're not really my taste in emcees. I prefer kats like Tha Blue Herb(boss is one of the best emcees standing) and Muro more for japan rap and hip-hop.
Much respect to kanye for picking up some asian emcess. Maybe this'll spark something.
