Well 1/2 of the duo is back, the emcee "LYRICKS" has recently gone to Uganda for mission trips and has released a new song as well as a new video, and yes it is about god. The videos and pictures in the video he took himself.
To me the video is a very powerful and moving piece of work that I am thankful just to BE ABLE to stumble across a person like Lyricks and what he does. Not only is he spreading a positive message, He is also, along with a very small group of people, are help keeping hip-hop on its truth path by giving out messages and making a person think instead of (yes I said it before and I'll say it again) doing what the other so called "hip-hop musicians" are currently doing in mainstream hip-hop. Instead of death, sex, and guns he raps about life, love and hope. Heres a small part of the song from the video that I liked and agree with:
"We are living in a war zone today ladies and gentlemen
babies irrelevent // age is irrelevent cuz guns kill // guns still
but we dont dismantel nothing
cuz wen we dont see it its cool so we push the channel button and *click*
jessica sims "say what?" yo what a dummy
goes 2 MTV I wanna see celebrities throwing money"
