www.pandora.com is a great place for all you people that like to discover new bands and songs that you like.

pandora is basically a radio station on the internet but you personalize it and create your own stations. You type in a band or song or genre and it goes and finds other songs that have the same characteristics that you might like. It's a great way to find new music.

my friend told me about this some time ago. it seems to work for him. he's always telling me about bands he's heard on that site. I think it's cool.
