looks like grey circles to me, not just plain black, with some photoshop

for those with astigmatism who've worn toric... are the thickness and size of circles any larger?
and has anyone know if G&G makes green toric circles? 0_o

Is Acuvue define a type of circle lens then?

Her eyes there are really pretty, but the detail in the eye probably isn't the lense - it's probably the catchlight reflected in her eyes. Without the bright light there, her eyes would probably have that "dead" look typical of black circle lenses.

ACTUUUUUALLY if you looks very closely, its just a black ring and her eyelids are pushing the contacts down so you can see the ring clearly. the black ring isnt around her iris. its a little lower. just letting you know. it looks like messiah black to me

what im trying to say is that the contacts she's wearing is just a spikey black ring that moved downward a little so it isn't sitting perfectly on her eyes.

Do you mean toric lenses in general? I have astigmatism, and my lenses are 14.5 in diameter, which is still within normal range but slightly larger than most contact lenses. (G&G diameter for their toric lenses is 14 actually). As for thickness, I have no clue. But for ppl with astigmatism you have to get lenses that are weighted on one side (depending on how irregularly shaped your eye is), so your lens won't move around in your eye. I've always worn toric lenses so I have nothing to compare it to.
Search on the G&G website, they have pictures of all their products. It doesn't show that they have green toric lenses though, only brown.
But yea. I wish I could find circle lenses for people with astigmatism.
Sucks that toric lenses have to be so expensive, too.

I just went to pick up a new trial pair of torics today. =( I had to wait two weeks just for my trials because offices don't carry toric trials for far-sighted poeple with eyes as bad as mine.
yea.. I checked the website too. I was hoping that they carried green ones...
and it does suck that they're expensive too, but I'm getting softlens 66 toric by Bausch and Lombe. Cheeeaaaaap!

haha, no offense... but i really think all black circle lenses, epecially the one you showed (spikey) have the same effect..
its just a matter of comfortability
and the definition of the ring only matters if you have light eyes..
my eyes are really dark, so it makes it look all black like a g&g bt01

umm well you can tell in a lot of pictures that uhlzzang celebs do...
but they kind of get away with that whole bug-eyed look.
but to be sincerely honest, i think my first impressions of a guy with colored/circle contacts
would be kinda... sketched out. haha.

I know a lot of guys that wear colored contacts, and a few that wear circle lenses (normally), so it seems pretty normal to me :]

Yes, they are still circle lenses, but they are made specifically to fit the astigmatism of your eye.
Anyways, I was browsing through some Nakashima Mika pics on nana-nana.net, and found some recent pics of her wearing grey circle lens. So I'm sharing them here since the pics are big and clear :]
I'm guessing these are Aryan grey because I don't think Bescon or G&G make their two toned designs like this.

actually, mika isn't wearing circle lenses. they are really expensive regular colored lenses... either Natural Touch or Elegance, the same brand as paris hilton wears. They just have a dark limbal ring like circle lenses. They don't actually make her irises much larger.

If you boil it down, circle lens are just cosmetic lenses with some kind of limbal ring. They're not really limited to just the brands listed here.

chickery yes, mika is definetely wearing either natural touch or elegance. but they look like NT to me. NT/elegance arenīt circlelenses though. i have a pair and they donīt make your eyes bigger ^^ (theyīre the same size as freshlooks)

uhmmmmm. i got bescon tear brown... which has a 14.0 diam, but the same base curve. im kinda paranoid, but will that be a big difference? like, will it kill my eye? >.<

HAHA i know what you mean by photoshoped eyes.
When i first wore my lens, one of my cousins were like..."Your eyes looked photoshoped" Then it hit her that i'm in real life and she's like OMG YOURE WEARING CONTACTS LOL haha

Lol Thnx ^^; Depending on your eye sensitivity, it'll be uncomfortable...First mine was a LIIITLE uncomfortable, but i just put a drop or two of eye solution on the contacts, then put it on my eye for comfort. It helps a lot on the comfort level actually ^^ BTW these lens are suuper soft o_o;; they easily stick to your eyes too!

I edited with a pic witout the flash.
With flash you could see right thru the lens [where its suppose to make your iris bigger]
because the lens its self is very light.

I personally really like any solid black lens, because it gives the dolly look.
On me, it doesn't look too fake (that's what all my friends say).
I also really like my tutti grays, both in terms of appearance and comfort (:
I really want a pair of blue, green or brown tuttis or a pair of tear lenses, but I'm so broke T_T
