of course you can get prescription :b it's just that some people don't get it so they CAN wear glasses over it, ya kno? but i think some circles you can't get prescriptions, only a few tho, like tutti green....me thinks

I think tutti browns are very very popular, and also very pretty.
I can't really give you an opinion about messish lenses, because I don't own any, but I see more tutti browns - why not go for something that is tried and true? =)

I wear Tutti Green and G&G Gray.
The G&G circle lenses have gray circles instead of black around the edges.
The Tutti Green looks weird on me. I personally like the gray contacts better.
I'm going to get some Tutti Brown lenses soon.

Hm... I have astigmatism, so if I get circle lenses they're like $100

Do you think it'd be okay if I just got circle lenses with no prescription and then wore glasses? Or would the circle lenses make my vision blurry (I have really bad astigmatism btw).

^ i also have an astigmatism, but it's only a little & only my left eye, but the optometrist just gave me regular contact lenses instead of the astigmatism kind, so my left eye is kind blurry sometimes. so wat i'm trying to say is, even if you get non prescription, your eyes will still get blurry (unless your glasses are specifically made for astigmatisms?? i think that would be ok then.)

I reallyyyy wanna start wearing mine but I need to get solution first. =P
I have cleaning stuff but I need disinfectant I believe. Can't be too safe I guess. >< haha

And if I have a problem from trying to wear them without solution,
I can't go cry to my mom because she'll yell at me for using them in the first place

All the different kinds of circle lenses are so pretty though!
I love the Geo Revo Colors. ^^

The SM Brown is unnoticeable. I got SM Brown awhile ago and i was soo disappointed. you cant see the pretty patterns inside the brown and it juss looks like regular clear contacts with a black circle around iris. Its kinda nice to wear once in a while if you want your eyes to look natural and big.

If you're astigmatism is over 150 you shouldn't wear circle lens... but having said that, I don't know if it's ok to wear no prescription circle lens

Does anyone know why all the Neo lenses are 1 year except for the 2 tone?? they only last half year...

Does anyone know whats wrong with my lenses....

Somedays when i wear them, my vision is soooo blurred and i have to take them off because my eyes get so tired and i cant even read something 50cm in front of me, but if i take them off and put them on a few times, i have 20-20 vision (well as close to 20-20 vision that i can get).
Its not that they move around my eye either =P They fit perfectly....
And I would understand if i had power on my lenses... but the thing is i dont....

*sigh*.. such a problem... I end up having to take them off and on five or six times b4 they fit in such a way that its not blurry

k i am kinda scared because i dun wear any glasses or contacts, but my older sister does,and she ordered these tear lense and they looked SOO GOODthen i wanted some so she got me a pair with no pescription.i know contacts are normally not good for your eyes, but i dun have a pescriptioni just want to wear them because they make you look prettier,is this safe? :ph34r:

yeah i heard circles were pretty bad.
they trap your tear ducts or something.
basically kills your eyes.
i read an article that says you should wear it like for up to 5~6 hours though.
and i got paranoid since i have to wear it for 8+ hours.
my mom read the newspaper on circles too and she got all hazardy.

i still want it though.

im still gonna get it...

^ if you aren't able to take them off after 6 hours, you should take the contact lense case and solution (travel size) with you all the time.
They are small enough to put in your purse.
So if they start bothering ur eyes, you go to a restroom and take them off.

regular contacts, as in the ones you get from the doctor, they recommend wearing them for up to 12 hours (or was it 10? 8? i dont remember.. i usually never follow that rule anyway

circle lens are basically regular contacts. except you dont have an optometrist to find the brand and its features that's right for the fit, your eye shape and its health. because of this, it's pretty risky and a sort-of good chance that your vision will change.

when tears ducts get trapped it creates styes. i've had so many of those, not from circles, but from polution and rubbing my eyes. i'm quite sure tear ducts aren't trapped from circle lens. 5-6 hours is recommended, but i've worn mine over 12 hours before! :X it just gets dry, but my eyes don't bleed or anything. I've worn them for over a year and my eyes only got one degree worse. i think the worst thing anyone can do is sleep with them on :X

I don't really see a difference between ifax & amie, especially when worn.
If you want a recommendation, then I'd probably recommend ifax to you, because I've seen more of them around (they're probably one of the most popular circle lenses).
I own a pair of ifax black myself, and I love the effect - they're not too abnormal looking, which is great ^^*
However, they're slightly uncomfortable for me .. it differs from person to person, and I know people who can wear ifax all day without getting irritated one bit, so it's totally chance on that one.

another question..
do you guys think there`s a certain eye type/shape that pulls circle lenses off better? particularly the black ones that are supposed to make the blacks of your eyes bigger?
like, does it look better with people who have smaller, more slanted eyes? or bigger, rounder eyes? etc, etc ?

^ I think it looks better with ppl with bigger rounder eyes....
But then i think circle lenses in general will look better with bigger eyes, since if your eyes are too small.. they might cover too much of the white bit and make u look a bit alien like.. =P

Some ppl with small eyes can pull off black circle lenses though =D

but i ran into this other brand.. it`s called ColorVue Big Eyes. anyone know anything about this? it`s manufacter is MaxVue Vision. and they carry a handful of colors. aaaand.. that`s pretty much the only info i have about it. -___-; lol and these pictures:

i recently bought circle lenses and it's my first time wearing them.
it is natural for it to like blur/sting the eyes like the first few minutes?
because my eyes are okay after couple of seconds - 2 minutes.
the first time i wore them, it hurt for like 10 minutes.

The seller i pre-ordered Free teen violet had nudy too, and in-stock/ready to be shipped! But the color looked not as bold as free teen. So I didn't get that one.

But Actually the color is quite noticeable ! <3

hey geo nudy blues look nice : ), but i gave up contacts that don't give me the big eye effect : (, left over sky blue two tone ='(, ahah anyways are the nudies suppose to have that white space on the bottom ? : S.

BunnyliciouS: Yea, the Nudy blue isn't too natural or too bold in real life, but it's noticeable ^^

But comfortwise, they weren't very comfortable when i first put them on after opening it (<--bad idea! LOL) So it burned and teared up my eyes T_T and i had to take them off to actually let it soak for an hour or so lol.

But after letting it soak, its pretty comfortable ^^ And it's not bad at all :)

Moonyah: Lol i'm not sure. i think its the light o_o;; But according to ying02:
"the white part is used as the iris. so when u wear the lens it looks like there's a halo surrounding it."

I like it. dramatic but somehow i think i can sorta pull it off more or less
