Just wondering, about the contacts that have the stars and glitter and all -
is it the truth, or is it just a myth - do the stars really fall out in your eye and damage your cornea?!

Nudy greens, as promised

:
In case:

Close up:

Both eyes (excuse my makeup-less face and my bedhead-_-"):

With flash:

I find them too dramatic for everyday use though haha.
Just in case you guys are wondering, YES, nudies are more comfortable than G&G's but I find them harder to put on due to its higher water content (they tend to bend in your fingers easily as you try and pick them up).
I know this might sound repetitve but can anyone recommend me a pair of light brown (almost like hazel) circle lenses that can
last up to a year? I know of cala hazel but those are monthly disposable. Thanks!

When I went to Hong Kong, they didn't have em.
All they had was the Acuvue Define, which "defines" your eyes lol
I think their concept is basically the same as circle lenses, but I tried them on and they didn't make a difference at all o_O
You might see their ads around too.. but I seriously don't see any difference in their ads either LOLL
And they only had the black color.. I told them that there were some circle lenses that were brown, grey, blue, green, etc.. and they looked at me like I was insane
Anyway, they were called "dai ahn jing" in Cantonese ( big eye... er, something. i dunno what jing means lol )
But that's only Hong Kong :] I haven't tried looking in Taiwan.

a&k, but not so much on you?
do you guys think nudy green/violet would look good with basic, plastic black frames?yeah i was wondering about the halo . it only showed on a&k because she took sideways pics. in a previous post i mentioned how the 'halo' shows only when the lenses seem to slide , heh obvious right ? the nudys have a thinner outer black line . well hopefully ill figure out the halo and stuff . & i think nudy green/violet would look great with the frames (: .

when you write 'eye' in chinese you are supposed to write 'ahn jing' (眼睛)
but when you say it, you just say 'ahn' or 'ahn jing' . jing does not mean pupil, pupil is something else...

Aug 1 2007, 04:38 PM
i was staring at myself closeup in the mirror an hour ago and i realized what the difference was o_o;
most of the other circles got a thick black circle that fills up the extra few millimeters between your pupil and the lenses;
but for nudy's, the ring is thinner and instead uses the color to fill in the white space.
i'm guessing that's what the halo is.
NUDY GREEN LOOKS AWESOME D:

as people have said over & over, it really depends on the person. some have a big effect & others have none. you really just have to try it out. for me, i only went -.25 degree up over a 1 year span, which isn't bad at all :b i hope i helped, good luck <3

Sellers normally state that customers with degrees of -6.00 or worse should be extra careful about wearing circle lenses, and it's pretty obvious why. =)

^ cup your eye. like, instead of trying to make the center of the contact touch your eyes, ease it in by, like.. rolling it into your eye, starting by either letting the top or bottom touch first and rolling the rest of it on. that way, you can put it under your eyelid easier since your eyes are so small. don`t know if that makes sense.. /= not too great at explaining it, but that`s how i taught my causin too cuz she has tiny eyes too.
