but that might defeat the purpose depending on ur glasses? cuz u might not be able to see ur eyes as well
anyway u can also get them prescribed.... a lot of places do that. no additional charges or anything

i don't have any experience but i think <- ... that ur vision won't really get worse if u dont' wear them ALL the time. n if u give ur eyes a rest.
n i dunno most normal contact lenses are pretty safe ... lol =P my eyesight has remained the same for the last 3+ years
circle lenses its cuz of the extra pigment in the lenses n lack of oxygen going to ur eyes..maybe some day.

Are you guys making your eyes bigger when taking the pictures?
Cause I know nearly all asians make their eyes a bit bigger - by opening them.. more? - when taking pics.

Or are you guys just naturally looking at the camera?
Not making your eyes bigger or nothing, just leaving them at a normal state.

My first pair cost~35USD, my next two pairs I got for~25USD each. I've ordered another pair and I'm paying $33 for them. $40 is pretty average priced though.



I got my first pair of colored contacts right before my first pair of circle lenses, about a year ago (when I was 19). My parents were more weirded out by my Freshlook Turquoise lenses than my Circle lenses with blue stars. They weren't mad or anything, they just made me promise not to wear them 24/7 (which I don't).

I think in h.s., more kids wear colored contacts (the regular ones) and it's definitely easier to get used to circle lenses once you've already tried colored lenses. You can always ask your parents to take you to an optometrist for an eye exam - you can ask them to try out different colored contacts there.

My friend use to wear some purple lens. They were REALLY noticable. They weren't circle lenses though. =/

i looked at my current reg. contact lenses info and it says i have a base curve of 8.4 and diam. of 13.8.
would it be okay to wear circle lenses of 8.6 bc and 14mm diam? i wouldn't wear the circle lenses very often either.

1) some Tuttis last 3 months, some 6, and some one year. You have to ask where you are getting them from how long.
2) For Tuttis, this is my experience from most noticeable to least:

Blue>Grey>Green>Brown

I didn't include purple because they really don't do much but act like regular black lenses... The color is really dark.

Jisoox3 it depends on what kind of preference you're going for XD black is plain but it makes your irises super huge O_O; a bit scary @__@ super stars add a cute effect but can be very abnormal && unnatural. So it just depends on what look you're going for ^^;~ hope that helped O_O;

I see alot of these questions. and yes you can wear your prescripted lenses and unprescripted glasses or vice versa if youd like. because these two dont affect eachother in any way. unless of course they were both prescripted. ( you would not be able to see)

Also most circle lenses are all the same size. its just the thickness of the BLACK CIRCLE around the lenses. If you see the most common circle lenses (ii tone colors and tuti colors). The difference is only the thickness of the black circle. Its just an effect.

FOR EXAMPLE

---You apply eyeshadow onto your eyes. Same color, same width, same length, but if you apply one side darker than the other, and when u look from far away, the eye with the DARKER eyeshadow would look bigger. Its just the DEPTH of the color that effects the size of your eyes.

Also for people with small eyes, there are MINI CIRCLE LENSES.(actually smaller than regular circle lenses)
For people with REALLY big eyes, there are CLOUD LENSES(i do not think the actual size of the lenses are bigger than regular lenses but the thickness of the black outlining is the biggest)

MY PERSONAL OPINION ON CIRCLE LENSES (IVE TRIED ALMOST EVERYTHING)

Green.....this color is really hard to pull off.

SOME contact lenses have really natural looking green where it almost looks sorta brownish greenish...

but um..TUTI colors are JUST SO NOT NATURAL looking.

so if u were to get. BLUE, PURPLE, or GREEN <- these will look SOO FAKE.

Kinda WHY i like tuti BROWN because. BROWN is a natural eye color among asians right, so its like ACCENCUATED brown.( if thats even a word)

gray just kinda sorta looks black but it ISNT, so it looks more natural than totally BLACK.

I suggest, for people that want plain black circles, to get TUTI GRAY because these arent sooo black, but not toooo gray so it looks kinda...natural? i guess..u can say..

OMG its so hard for me to explain u just have to try them on and see them in person and u will understand what im talking about.


as for PURPLE contact lenses..ANY purple contact lenses.. i think these only look good in those really pale, milk-skinned girls with black hair.


I tried on purple a few days ago and it just did NOT GO!

Hair color & Skin color is really important.

GREEN....only a certain kind of green looked good on me. I think they were freshlook colorblends.

BLUE, naturally looks good with blonde hair.

Green looks good with dark hair colors..

Brown - brown or blonde hair.

Purple- black hair



also.. i saw the picture of TUTI LAVENDER. ..i was like.." oh god NO! what were they thinking!!"

Tear lenses- BLUE IS MY FAVORITE.

Star/heart lenses- maybe for clubbing? but not for everyday use.

Cloud lenses- biggest ive seen so far. the outlining is HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
