Sorry but youre wrong, the words/name/term circle lenses isnt an "english version". IT IS ENGLISH.
But the term was coined in korea.
We call them SSUH KEUL LEN JEUU, Its absolutely FOBBY.

only koreans could come up with something so fobby as CIRCLE LENSES./ thats like SQUARE MONITORS or TRIANGULAR FUNNELS. .........ah , RECTANGULAR REMOTE CONTROLS..(sorry im just teasing hahaha ^^)




If anything, they might call them circle lenses in japan also. (MIGHT)

and plus superstars you'll probably wear a few times and then get tired of it

definitely too much for a pair of superstars, since you're probably not gonna wear them that much
i wouldn't mind getting superstar grays for 30 a pair though^^;

and swani; you can tell you have your lens the right way by the way it sits on your finger
hold it up and it should have a nice curve; if it has straight sides it means you're holding it the wrong way(:

its startin to annoy me when people say "they will ruin your eyes"

I wear contacts - clear and coloured and my eyesight is fine
it aint gotten worse
and i have astigmatism (i got tht before getting contacts so dont think ul get astig from contacts)
contacts can dry out your eyes but you SHOULD NOT wear them for more than 10hours a day 12hours is the most but it rly dries out
8-12hours is what the docs recommend

Options also say u shudnt wear em everyday
u can wear em like every so often like 3-5 times a week out of 7 days but not the full 7 days
and you should NEVER sleep with them on

otherwise it will seriously damage your eyes
also when buying circle/cosmetic/clear contacts have a look at water content!
the high the water content the better it is for your eye usually clear ones are about 59% water content
coloured ones usually range from 35-50 but only cos they have color in them

Also look after them cos that will help your eyes aswell

dirty lenses in ur eyes is bad!

try darker colours like green, browns, black and dark grey

Chouchou- thats so right..you shouldnt be wearing them for more than 10 hrs....in the newspaper..it said that a woman wore them for more than 10 hrs, and after she took them out..it damaged her eyes..probably because it was so dry or something and she became blind o__o
but i think that that woman was being stupid...but i feel sorry for her..

Okay, I know the first post says that only certain circles are alright for astigmatism, but I still have a question about it. For other brands besides G&G, take Tutti lenses for example, that DON'T mix w/ astigmatism, would it be alright to wear them, but w/ no prescription? Or is it a straightforward "never ever wear circles if you have astigmatism, even if they aren't prescribed"?

Like, I have astigmatism and I want Tuttis. Can I buy non prescribed tuttis, and wear my glasses on top for my astigmatism?

xmimihx the seller i brought my circle lens from could add astigmatism on all of the lens including free-teen,G&G,Bescon tutti, & Dueba =D =) so i think all circle lens could it depends on the seller?=)

astigmatism isnt a DISEASE or anything.

astigmatism is when your eyeballs are FLAT.

which means, when you wear regular contact lenses, it wouldnt stick right.

whether your eyes are prescripted or NOT, if you have astigmatism...normal lenses(circles, coloured, clear wahtevers)
they dont fit your eyeballs.

glasses isnt particularly FOR your astigmatism, its BECAUSE you have astigmatism, you cant wear lenses.

PRESCRIPTION, or the power of your eye is for your SIGHT, but just because you get NON PRESCRIPTED lenses, its not going to help you for your ASTIGMATISM.

IF you were going to get contact lenses AT ALL, you should get fitted for your astigmatism and prescripted for your eyesight as well. so you dont have to wear your glasses.

(do u understand what im saying?? just because its not prescripted doesnt mean that you can wear lenses..YOU STIL HAVE ASTIGMATISM...)

(im pretty sure there are other reasons for astigmatism and not being able to wear contact lenses, but then physically, it would be uncomfortable first of all.)




Im not sure if they have TUTI lenses for astigmatism, but there are many other lenses for astigmatism, and getting them fitted only takes a week. the price depends on the power of your eyes and the degree of your astigmatism.

Okay so i just found out that lenses for astigmatism is called TORIC lenses ( ahha i did not know)

Hmm the funny thing is, I showed that picture to a seller and he said that those aren't Super Star Blues. They're something called T-stars? Anyone ever heard of that before? o_O

^ yea they're orignally called special t-star lens. but i guess people just started calling it superstars. lol. i'm not sure why they're called t-stars, but the lens itself when you look at it there aren't any stars on it. it's almost all blue/grey swirls and it's not til after you put it on that you see the stars.

*edit.. sorry guys i lied! (or so my seller) super stars and t-stars are diff. O.O;

New ones have come out in Korea. I bought the 'Define' range in brown by acuvue, daily wear. They're not as obvious as the black circle lenses that only have a plain black ring. The define rings are more realistic, with that frilly pattern going around. Don't get me wrong, they're different to normal colored lenses. As my eyes are naturally brown, the overall effect is more natural .. can't tell they're there at all.

they also come in black and grey.

In regards to whether they're good for your eyes or not.. I've been wearing contact lenses for vision for 8 years already. My eyes havn't gotten any worse. You just have to follow instructions on how to care for your eyes.. like taking your contact lenses out when you sleep etc.

You can wear contacts if you have astigmatism!
i have astigmatism and i still wear contacts
it really depends though on how bad your astigmatism is
if its rly bad i advise u stick to wearing glasses or get specially made lenses

if its mild then its okay

Ive tried heart lenses but i didnt really like them. it wasnt that noticeable except for the pink heart. which kinda made me look like i had some kinda disease on my eye.

i'm sooo frickin dying to get circle lens but i'm not sure which ones, like...which ones do you guys think are THE BEST? out of all of the ones you have, which one would you recommand for light brown eyes?
also, i heard that since the diameter of the circle lens are bigger, the lens suck alot of the moisture from your eyes causing them to irritate? is that true, or just bull?

In terms of comfort, I liked tutti the best. The diameter of my circle lenses have been the same as my clear ones - 14.0. Get your eyes fitted from an optometrist and get circle lenses that are the right measurements. Tutti lenses came in a base curve of 8.6 and diameter of 14.0.
