^^You should always dampen your contacts with a fresh squirt of solution before putting them in your eye lol
I don't think there's a difference... Maybe because for some people the base curve doesn't fit right and the contact slips so the color part covers your pupils?

Woohoo!! Got my nudy browns finally. I'm a cosplayer so I bought them just for the sake of the halo. XD
I made a little picture collection for those who are wondering how the white halo works on my eye. The text goes:
Where I'm looking - What kind of lighting - Flash or no flash

The bottom two were taken in regular indoor lighting. (My room) I didn't realize it until I saved the image, but I'm kinda looking down in the very last one.
I really like them and they're pretty comfortable! The halo shows more on the outsides of my iris rather than the bottom, unless I'm looking upwards of course.
Oh, click
here for a picture of me 'in costume' ^^ I'm supposed to be Yuki Nagato from the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. It's window lighting and... ignore my collar!! @______@;;

ok.
i've been REALLY curious about circle lenses...
I have a couple of questions???
What brand is the 'best' or 'most reliable' brand??
Are they REALLY that hard to take care of?
Do your vision REALLY do worsen after a prolonged time period of wearing them?
Can anyone suggest a color for me? like, one that would match?

I hear tuttis are comfortable? But I don't own a pair.
Take care of your lens as to how much you care for your eye. Simple as that.
I don't know about the vision thing, but so far my vision hasn't changed and its been a good two years of wearing circle lenses, but I wear non-prescriptions.
I don't really understand your last question, do you mean match as in blend in naturally with your eye? Theres alot depending on how light your eye color is. You should get Neo Dali Brown, its like natural no question about it.

And does anyone have any opinions on what would be the most natural looking green lens on a very dark eye?

if you wait for a month, I'll post one

yeah, haven't seen any good green.
not many can wear the Nudy(some other brands too) in green color, since that color is only available with no power.

Has anyone here used the DUEBA brand yet? what do you guys think? Are they comfortable or not? I'm considering them because they're a dark gray -- not a bright silver gray -- and I can't find tuttis anywhere right now. Plus, they're readystock, so I can get them in like less than two weeks. I think they have some really dramatic color though...
You really DO have to soak them. If you don't, they'll be really "dry" and uncomfortable. I haven't worn my G&G Dreamy Black (I think some people clal them I-Fax Black) in months because when I first got them, I was too eager and just put them in. They were dry and slipping all over the place. Now I put them in (after soaking them for MONTHS) and now they feel great. SUPER comfortable, actually. My right one is being a little weird because I have vague astigmatism.
*sorry if it's too big...! And I don't have any good before pics, but I just wanted to show how dolly one can look. my eyes don't look that much bigger, but I look... well, doll-like.

That did help a lot because
I am like.... well.. I don't know much about circle lenses.
My last question was like...
a color that would look good on me...
I mean... I've ALWAYS wanted to try green..
but I'm never sure if it looked good on me..
and then grey always looks attractive to me...
I just didn't want to buy one and then they'd look 'weird' on me.

I'm facing the same dilemma, SockRocker. I have fairly dark brown eyes, but I really want green Tutti's now. I'm just afraid they'll look way too unnatural (like too bright or something). I looove the picture that b4by1nc posted above, though. If I end up buying them, I'll post pictures and tell you how they feel.

In the first pic, it looks grey though
The rest looks dark purple-ish probably because he just has bad lighting or quality camera
Try go outside in the sun, the grey should look brighter.

All right! So I got my Violets in and they are soooooooo much love. The color is pretty noticeable in the daytime: they definitely are lighter than the Freeteen Violets and Tutti Lavanders. In dim/dark/yellow lighting, they look grayish, but still lighter than my haircolor (which is currently blackish)
but i LOVE them XD
I took this picture in daylight in my roommate' room LOL so sorry for the random background items.

Ok so it's not the greatest pic, but it givesyou an idea of what they look like in daylight and compared to the overall face. I'll be wearing them tomorrow so I'll take more pictures then XD.
