I wonder how much of a difference it'll have on my eyes though. I have double lids and am half caucasian. Hmm... I'll just have to wait to find out. ^^

my friend just got back from china last week
and i totally forgot i asked her to get me a pair of circle lens from there
(this was a few months ago when my hair was still brown)
the lenses are g&g i-fax browns
they don't match my current hair color T-T

anyways

so i wanted to get a pair of gray lens because my tutti grays are horrible now (way past expiration date)
can anyone recommend a gray pair thats lighter than the tuttis?
i was thinking nudy but the halo doesnt show on me T-T
i can't really think of anything else

I wish I could wear circle lenses, but I really can't... my astigmatism is HORRIBLE (like 170 on one eye, 10 on the other) so I'll never be able to wear ANY kind of colored lenses You guys are all super lucky >.<

there is no need to come in and judge and be negative. if your only purpose is to see "pretty" people, then you're in the wrong forum.

i don't want comments like yours to prevent others from posting pics that may help others when choosing a lens.

!kejaci it might be because of the base curve of the lens? Some of the base curves are rather large, and that'll cause a lot of shifting around in your eyes. I wear a base curve 8.3-8.4mm for my regular contacts but some circle lenses have a base curve up to 8.8mm which is really huge. I don't think they're imitation circle lenses -- if you're worried about getting bootlegged ones or whatever -- it's just that a lot of Asian countries make their own variety of circle lenses as well.

And I do think sugar_puff looks great in her lenses too! If you really are wearing Nudy Greys (and not Blues like you think you might), WOW! That's the shade of grey that I want to get!

hi everyone! i'm looking into getting circle lenses. are there certain brands that you all would recommend?

I bought Tutti greens and Colorvues in Dolly, and in my opinion, the Tuttis are waaaay more comfortable. I can barely even tell I have them on when I'm wearing them. The Colorvues always irritate my eyes when I first put them in and they are very floppy, so they turn inside-out a lot and it's difficult to tell which way they're supposed to go.

I do notice that when I wear circle lenses, my eyes have a hard time focusing. I don't know if anyone else has that problem, though.

they're the ones that have a white ring on the outside of the lens. i think they're probably just like circle lenses except it has that additional white ring on the outside or something like that. someone can probably explain this better than how i just did. lol, sorry!

^ haha. I think my saesang-nim for one of my classes (he's Korean, so I think it's more polite to call him Saesangnim even though it's not a Korean class) has that same baby as his wallpaper on his computer.

And no, the bebe is not wearing circle lenses. Babies just have HUGE and gorgeous and dark irises... haha.

I'm pretty sure they can't put contacts in babies, I mean they don't even need it. Also, if I remember correctly you can't start using contacts until a certain age.

That'd be so sad if they put circle lenses on a baby.
But hey, babies already have big eyes.

SweetSerenity they're not TOO noticeable. for me, it just makes my eyes look bigger and has a darker ring around it as well that makes it look shinier/more sparkly. i was originally going to get grey because i had grey contacts before... usually grey also looks really good on people and is more noticeable, so i guess it just depends on how n oticeable you want it to be ;) i think i've seen more people with grey ones here...

You are SO right! I just recently got fitted for contact lenses and the optometrist gave me samples of EVERY SINGLE COLOR LENS that they had in stock (well, for dark eyes anyways). And I was soo much happier with my circle lenses than any of them. Not only do the circle lenses make your eyes look bigger, but the pigmentation is much more concentrated so the color actually shows up. I'm not too sure I liked wearing the gray though... they make me look hauntingly morose.

My friend did mention that mine made my eyes look bigger. Her exact words were, "Whoa! Your eyes look so big!" And for someone who typically has pretty teeny eyes... that was an awesome compliment.

Anyways, I'm in the mood for a natural, but light brown color. Like the whole "my eyes but better" look. Any recommendations? I'm looking at Nudys because I think they're the only ones light enough to give me that "color change" that I'm looking for. And still hunting for a seller that can get me Tutti Greys... haha.
